Major issues with this product
I returned both the 3000 and 5000 Watt versions of this voltage regulator / step up.First the good; I measured with a multimeter and indeed it delivers 110v and 220v +/- a few volts. I think the exact numbers were 108.5 and 217.4. So that's cool very few products on the market have that. The input was standard 115v US.But under even light load (200-400W) these units both failed the first test. The 3000W unit cut power, the 5000W unit randomly dropped voltage for a second, rebooting the computer.Other issues with the 5000W version; The voltage dial on the front isn't accurate. It would read over 220 when delivering 217. There was a gasoline like chemical smell that filled the room. The unit got warm. It made loud clicking noises. There was also a humming sound. This is an industrial product clearly.Had these units worked, I would have been very happy with them in fact. It really is a shame Simran doesn't have better QA.

Does npt work as advertised
Product did not reduce input voltage. Seller then canceled replacement order after ups took delivery of the defective item. Avoid this product and seller

1 year and then trash.
I bought 2 both lasted almost 1 year. 1st one started putting out 400+ volts on the 110 side. 2nd stopped regulating - does still work as a step down transformer but that is it.

poor workman ship
Apparently 5000w doesn't mean 5000w this thing under-voltage my device at a draw of about 150 w lol apparently they don't know what heat shrink is and leaving wire insulation in a finished product is perfectly fine for them. absolutely trash of workmanship here.
