Works on a few Japanese cars from 2010 to 2025 namely Toyota, Nissan and Honda. If it can't auto find the vin number type it manually and it works well. Very good for DIY not for bidirectional testing as said on the label. Shows all system faults as well.

this is awesome. you can do active monitoring of your wheel sensors, as you drive it shows you the mph of the sensor--try that on your average fifty buck code reader.

After I scanned my car a check engine light came on. (keep in mind my car didn’t have a check engine light on at the time I scanned it) i decided Scanned it again and it said that there were no codes saved. I took my car to the shop because the CEL was still there and they used a nice scanner and said that my gauge cluster is no longer communicating with the BCM (Body Control Module) not sure what happened but this cheap scanner caused my cluster to no longer communicate so not I am stuck with a permanent check engine light on. Infiniti said that sometimes with cheap scanners they try to check too many things at once causing the computers to freak out and not read certain things, which in my case was the gauge cluster.

Pairing this with an iPad gives a very capable diagnostic tool that can handle virtually any vehicle and provide detailed information on the fault and a great collection of AI-generated solutions. Incredible value for money!

Supposedly lifetime free upgrades as description says. It's diagnosis capability is far better than $100 scanners.
