Most modern chair seats are too low for many older disabled people to get out of without assistance. This powered lift has been a godsend. It is pretty heavy but easy to move from chair to chair, and lifts an 18-stone person without difficulty to a position that makes it easy for them to stand. The battery is rechargeable and appears to hold a charge for a long time, though this would depend on how many times the cushion is used.

we've had this around two weeks now. it arived well within the specified time and was extremely well packaged (box within a box). the item seems quite solidly built and once charged it works very well. The only point I would make is that even with the supplied cushion, it's very hard to sit on for any time. Although the instructions don't recommend it, I have placed it under the removable cushion on my partners chair and it provides excellent assistance in helping her to stand. I haven't neded to fit the suppplied addtional handles, but these are a bonus, if required. The unit battery easily lasts for more than a week on each charge, which takes approx 2 hours using the supplied charger. Great purchase, very happy with it

I don’t know how we would have managed without this lifting aid. It is used constantly to help my husband get out of his wheelchair. Easy to use and keeps charged for long time. A little bit hard to sit on all day but we have a cushion on top which helps. It has become such a vital bit of kit we have bought a second one as a standby. There is nothing else like it on the market.
