🔥 Protect your power hubs before the heat hits!
This compact, self-triggering thermal aerosol fire extinguisher is designed for small enclosed spaces like car engine compartments, battery boxes, and power distribution cabinets. It activates automatically within 1 second at temperatures above 170°C, releasing a heat-absorbing aerosol that isolates oxygen and suppresses flames for about 30 seconds. Operating reliably in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 85°C, it offers a smart, easy-to-install fire prevention solution tailored for modern small-scale electrical and automotive fire risks.

This is a nice, small form extinguisher that is great for use in an enclosed area like an engine bay or cabinet. I’m using it with my tool batteries and chargers inside a metal cabinet since they’ve been known to malfunction and catch fire every now and then. There’s no way to know if it really works unless there’s a fire but assuming it does, it’s a great design and a great option for inexpensive fire suppression where full blown industrial systems aren’t financially feasible.

I went to mount this to an electrical area on a flat surface. The provided mounting bracket did not have the right length to reach around the canister and lay flat on a surface. The bracket is too short by a lot. I tried bending the bracket to make it contact the flat board behind it. No luck. I had to use zip ties instead. Now I’m concerned that the canister won’t work. I mean if they can’t even design a bracket that actually fits so you can mount it that does not inspire confidence in the actual product. If these were not so expensive I would buy another (to see if I just got a bum bracket as well) to throw into a controlled fire to see how it does and record and share the video here. Maybe the company will read this and want to make it right and send me a second bracket or better yet another unit to test. If it works that video would help sell the product. Everyone is like me. May need or want one but want to see a “customer “ video proving they work. Anyways, 1 star for me since they couldn’t get a simple bracket designed correctly. YMMV.
