So, I will admit I didn’t pay close enough attention to this when I bought it and thought it had a DVD drive in it. It doesn’t. But, with a minor pivot I’m happier with it than I think I would’ve been if I had ordered what I thought I wanted. We bought a fire stick to plug into it (we have car WiFi from our cellular carrier) and were able to plug it in so that there were no hanging cords. The kids are now able to stream while we’re stuck in the car for hours and I have some sanity again! It was easy to install (there was a DVD player already in the car when I bought it so using the existing connections was easy) and took us about 1/2 an hour start to finish. It has a good clear picture and being able to do more than just stream TV is a really nice added benefit. My son is looking forward to testing his Xbox on it during our next road trip. And the added interior lights it provides was an unexpected bonus that has really come in handy. Overall I am happy with the quality, and features for the price. I ended up talking my sister into buying one for her SUV also. So I would say I definitely recommend.

Outstanding picture

Picture quality is fantastic among the best for Having a vehicle. I gave at four stars because the only sound quality you can get are through the radio which gets static depending on where you travel or IR which gets interference if something gets in the way. Play ended up running an HDMI audio extractor it uses an AUX plug. I hardwired it into my factory cars AUX port and the sound worked great but I did have to get an AUX ground loop to prevent any background feedback and now it works perfectly almost as if it were installed factory. The only other reason that I give us four out of five stars is due to the way it closes if my vehicle hits a Bad bump in the road the monitor unlatches itself and opens up. I have to keep reaching back and shutting it when that happens.

I am so unsure about this device it is frustrating. The design is awesome. The profile is slim smooth and sleek. Almost reflects a laptop style shape size etc. Picture is great looking, EXCEPT for some reason there is a ton of lines through the screen. The company asked for pictures and only reply in middle of the night, probably replying from China. They asked me to return but that is not possible at this time. I waited over a month for the installer to get to my project. Between the screen and the custom install i have about a 1,000.00 wrapped into this overhead monitor. So i was advised to return and repurchase. Waiting a month to get the installer to remove and then another month with holes in my roof and dangling wires is not what I would expect from XTRONS especially since i bought their highest priced monitor from them. Save your time and money before installing this custom piece into your vehicle. Not worth the hassle. EDIT 10-12-2020 - Due to COVID I was unable to have the shop replace my unit for they faulty one in a timely manner. Xtrons said i can have the old one repaired but i can not return the item since i went past the 30 days. OR i can return it for an 80% refund. Based on the pics it is defective but since i had to work around covid and poor products i get penalized in the end. Sounds fair right? Not buy a name brand you recognize. Don't fall into my same situation.

One photo is what Toyota installed, claiming I could stream from my iPhone or use a thumb drive. Neither option works. Total price to install junk from 2004...$1795. Other photo is this product, screen mirroring works if you purchase an additional dongle, but you don’t even really need to screen mirror for this unit to be awesome. Only ended up spending $600 total after finding someone to install it. I was skeptical about this product when I learned it was being shipped from Hong Kong, but the seller uses FedEx. Miraculously arrived at my house about three days after ordering. Seller is also VERY responsive if you have questions. But definitely go this route vs letting a car dealership install some “lowest bidder, third party piece of junk.”

Ive had this over head for alittle over a year now and both the sd card slots and usb card slots will not read. They worked before and just stopped. Doesnt matter what format the drive is in or movie file format. The screen is beautiful can get a glare at times and not audio out put other than radio which is spotty. I’ve contacted the company with no response. Wont buy this brand again for sure, but definitely gonna use the the insurance i bought.

Fabolous screen! Great value for money. Got it fitted in a VW Multivan. Wasn't sure about size but 17inch turned out to be the perfect one. Outstanding image and audio. Had a problem with faulty headsets but Seller would solve It straight away. Bear in mind that installation needs to be undertaken by a professional. It's a mayor job

El producto fue instalado en una camioneta Toyota Sienna en conjunto con un Chrome Cast y funcionó perfectamente !!!! no requerí de un adaptador HDMI a mini HDMI. I purchased this for my camper conversion thinking it was a tv which I could tune in but it is not. I had to buy a digi box aswel then went that way around it
