I recently purchased a replacement key fob for my moms car, and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it. It works well—unlocking and locking the doors is a breeze, and it starts the car just like the original. However, I did notice that the buttons don’t perfectly align with the markings on the fob. It can be a bit confusing at times, especially if shes in a hurry. Despite this small hiccup, it’s a functional option, and for the price, I think it’s a good deal. If you’re just looking for something that gets the job done, this key fob will do the trick. Just be prepared for a slight adjustment period as you get used to where the buttons actually are!

2015 Chevy Equinox: If you’re planning on just swapping out the key blades from your old fob to the new one - you will not be able to. The slots for the key release button are just slightly different enough that the release function will not work with my old key and I cannot get the fob completely closed. Will have to get the new key cut to make this work. Overall, feels like medium quality, will likely not last much longer than an OEM considering how quickly these fobs tend to break. If you’re just wanting to get this cut and have an extra emergency key, it will likely work. I haven’t tried to program it yet because I need the key cut in order to do that. I’ll follow up if it doesn’t program easily.

Backup for a worn out 2014 Chevy Equinox key fob. Too much use and the buttons go bad. YouTube tutorial important on disassemble and reassemble. I cannot stress how important the tutorial is. You will thank me later. Reasonably priced. Fast shipping.

Happy with this purchase. Had to have key cut at a locksmith, but easy to program the fob myself after that. I don't intent to use the actual key part though as it doesn't feel super sturdy and I have a regular key. I couldn't find just a plain fob for my vehicle, but this does the job just fine. The remote start works too!
