UPDATE 7 Feb 2024:I've retested the capacity with same results. I very carefully removed the shrink wrap to check the capacity markings on the individual cells. These 18650 cells have no markings at all. I did not care to further disassemble the pack to find any markings, but it is not common to find them with higher capacity than 3000-ish. I can confirm, however, that this pack is very well assembled.======================I got this battery for my ice fishing fish finder. I was excited to find a Li-ion pack of this configuration with such a high capacity. BUT my crude testing with my fish finder shows only 6300-ish mAh, likely it should be a bit higher. This is nowhere near the 8800 mAh as marked on the battery and in the descriptionThis battery pack is mostly likely assembled in China with reasonably good cells. I suspect that the pack should be rated 6600 mAh but both 6’s were mis-read as 8’s – I have seen similar transcription errors on other products. I have also recently seen other packs like this offered here with the same 8800 rating – again, I suspect they were all from the same manufacturer and this error happened. For this error – and inadvertent deception of the buyer - I must severely downgrade the rating to 1 star.The cynic would assume a much more sinister reason for the mismarked capacity...Even so, the pack is well assembled, the batteries do appear to have a decent 3200-ish capacity which is on the good end. For a 6600 mAh pack, the price is also fairly good. For these reasons I will upgrade the pack to 2 stars as long as you don’t expect the life of an 8800 mAh pack.

Batteries have always been an interest since I was a kid but batteries back then didn’t have built in electronics to protect itself from over charging, under charging, temperature protection and more. I ran this battery hard with 63 discharge and discharge cycles. What a little beast! It arrived fully charged. After the cycles, I seen about .05% capacitance drop but in an hour I tested it again and it was 100%. I will chalk that one up to human error and/or the battery just needed to cool a bit. I am so impressed with aftermarket Li batteries. I got the opposite of what I was expecting. It is a well-designed battery that holds its charge. You can really see the power with 8800mAh. A replacement battery I would recommend to anyone.
