Battery fit exactly for my 3Ds and came half charged so you don’t have to wait and see if it works you’ll know immediately. So far the quality of the battery has been good I haven’t noticed any crash draining while playing.

My old 11 year old battery in my 3ds lasted longer than the new one as shown in the test. The only reason I’m not giving it a 1 is because it works at least.

I'm a big softie for my old 3DS – it's somewhere around 12 years old at this point. I noticed a while back that the back plate was bulging, and my system clock kept resetting to 1/1/2011. I did a bit of research, and turns out my original battery was out of date. Extremely out of date. Explosion risk out of date. Ordered this as soon as I could, and its been a life saver. Works just as well as the Nintendo battery did, if not better. It comes with the screwdrivers to do the repair yourself, and the process is quite straightforward: remove the old, worryingly bloated battery and the new one slips right into place. Console fits back together like new. Holds its charge amazingly – mine gets somewhere around 6-8 hours of game time off a full charge, and it's been around a year after the repair. I'd say if you have an original 3DS lying somewhere, and you haven't been giving it the love it deserves, freshen it up with this new battery.
