This isn’t a fan to begin with. It’s a cooling pad and it works really great. The radiator and fan are there to help dissipate heat coming from your device. I’m using it for my steam deck as it tends to get pretty hot. Cooling your device doesn’t improve performance. It helps the longevity of your device as heat kills electronics. It does get pretty loud but that something I can personally live with as I have it hooked up to my tv and sound system. Overall really great, definitely recommend.

This little fan works as explained but I didn't realize it needed to be plugged in continuously or I would have found a battery version.

Well I don't usually take time to review anything, except some choices in life. This cooling unit is dang good. I was genuinely shocked when I felt how cold it gets. So being the numbers guy I am,data is needed So with unit off and being and at ambient temperature of 71 F I turned the unit on and put a digital thermometer on and it read 71 F. The temperature starts to plummet with in seconds. Around 1 minute and 45 seconds it reached its coolest temperature of 49 F. Unbelievable. I use large programs and transfer huge files on to portable drives ,mostly M2 drives. I flip this unit over and put my media drive on it and it keeps it super cool. I have not used it for anything else. Only thing I do not like is the no control of the leds on it. Super quite and super cold equals kick ass. Well worth it. Do it, do it now if unsure. -Z

When i setup mine i noticed it never gets more than just cool in the middle. The fan spins up really fast on max setting but the center is barely cold. I have it connected to an Anker 100 watt type-c plug by itself on a 100 watt capable type-c cable so power delivery is not a problem. I can connect it and then leave the cooler in open air for 15 minutes and then touch the center and it cold, but not freezing. The temperature gauge even reads 11 degrees and never goes lower (when it is NOT connected to anything). I placed the transparent protective film with the magnetic sheet on top and left it on for an hour before attaching the cooler magnetically to it. It does nothing and the temperature reading on it goes up to 17 degrees. But the ipad still dims while i am gaming just as much as if nothing was connected to it. Maybe I got a bad one, if so I dont have the patience to return it and get a replacement. I’d rather just look for other brands and try them. It is too bad really…

I wasn’t sure this would work but it’s absolutely amazing. It has kept my surface tablet from overheating. It’s actually very cool where it attaches. No more glitches because it’s overheated. I use it 12-14 hours almost everyday. It’s a job and lifesaver! No regrets, amazing!

This works great for our iPad. My husband plays COD and it heats up the iPad but this has worked great and keeps it cool

Works well even at low cool setting . Use on a Surface Pro laying flat without attaching it (external display and keyboard/mouse). Unfortunately the "User Manual" (large postage stamp size) is in Chinese. Nowhere can I find the meaning of the two digit display or the ring of dancing LEDs. Anyone help?

Die Original - Bezeichnung habe ich nicht verstanden, auf deutsch gesagt ist das nichts anderes als ein kleiner Ventilator, den man mit dem beigefügten USB - Kabel (ca. 80 cm lang) an eine Steckdose mit USB - A - Stecker ( Achtung !).anschließen muss. Ich hatte Glück, denn ich erwarb kurz zuvor eine Steckdose mit so einem Stecker… Der Ventilator ist hinten magnetisch und um ihn zu befestigen liegt ein Rundblech bei, was man aufkleben muss. Logischerweise klebt man es hinten auf die Hülle des iPads drauf. Das Teil hat einen Schiebeschalter zum Einschalten, den sollte man auf Dauer in der (max.) Einschaltposition belassen, denn so kann man das Ding einfach durch Einstecken des USB - Kabels einschalten. Der Ventilator ist sehr leise, aber warum da Lichter leuchten entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis (Schwachsinn). Es gibt da auch ein Display mit Werten, die mir nichts sagen. Das kann man doch weglassen, hauptsächlich es kühlt konstant und effektiv. Im Titel schreibe ich von „anscheinend“, da ja nur die Zeit zeigen kann, ob die Kühlung ausreicht, um die Lebensdauer des iPads (9. Gen.) zu verlängern. Manchmal schaue ich über 5 Stunden Sport, da hat mich die Erhitzung des iPads schon beunruhigt, deshalb kaufte ich dieses Teil. Noch eine kleine Ergänzung : Die rudimentäre Bedienungsanleitung ist nur auf Englisch, doch man braucht eigentlich auch keine und das (chinesische) Teil kam aus dem Ausland
