I already have some adjustable dumbbells, but with having a chance to try these, wanted to see how these compare, as people like Coop from GGR likes recommending loadable dumbbells. Out of the box, packaging was simple and OIL FREE! Like, I'm used to getting bumpers, some gym equipment with oil or grease and having to clean them off, but these were shiny, good condition and no mess to clean up! Upon gripping it, I immediately felt the knurling and compared to my NordicTrack Select a Weight, is way better! Dimensions are roughly spot on, and the spin is nice too. I only have a pair of change plates for this of 2.5lb and 5lb, and while I have a full adjustable set, may keep an eye on marketplaces for change plates and mix these in throughout week. If you're starting off, recommend this pair!

Overall quality is very good.Knurling is great, moderately aggressiveI personally would like a thicker handle (I have XXL hands) Don't know the exact diameter, middle of the road,The sleeves rotate very nicely. The spring clamps are 2 winds as opposed to many that are 3, Because of that they take up less space than a 3 wind would, but they are more than strong enough to hold with no problem.I use urethane grip plates which are a bit wider than the standard iron plates would be. These (as with most 2" Dumbbell Handles) would not be great for rubber or urethane grip plates of any type of bumper plate, really only recommended for the thinner iron plates.
