TIME Pokemon Review: Great Retrospective on the beloved Pokemon franchise. - Crazy to think it’s been 25 years since I first played Pokemon Red on the original Gameboy! That’s where my love of this franchise started and the rest was history. From watching Ash Ketchum and Pikachu’s adventures in the Kanto region on the WB Kids channel all the way to playing Pokemon Scarlet in the modern era. This Pokemon edition TIME magazine really offers a great retrospective on the franchises roots, and covers pretty much how much of an impact this series has made here in the US. It goes over the games, the animated series, cards, various merchandises you name it. I just wish it would’ve gone more in depth into some of the game developers thought processes with a more “behind the scenes” take but that’s just me. Reading through this really puts into perspective just how much Pokemon has influenced not only gaming but pop culture as well. This series has always been near and dear to me and it’s what started my love for the RPG genre. If you are a fan of the series in any way, this is a must buy. I wish I had gotten the Charmander variant, but I’ll take Pikachu given since he’s the most iconic Pokemon! Great book! Review: Venusaur Edition Cover - Bought it to pair with the Bulbasaur edition cover. Came a little warped, but no bends or tears.

FAKE DONT BUY THEM
People these are fake, the book itself is too thick. The gloss doesn't match the very first page back side of covered should be blue with pokeballs, not the blank white cover!!! FAKE FAKE FAKE!! DONT BUY!!! Trust me I have purchased all but mew and gengar, very upsetting!!!

Was hesitant to purchase online because it was for a collector and didn’t want to risk it coming damaged/bent. Shipping was great and no issues! Worth the buy if you can’t find it in your local stores!

As a long time pokemon fan I knew I had to purchase this. The magazine has a bunch of cool articles and I’ve read it twice now. It’s great for a super fan or a casual fan, I think anyone would enjoy it
