Clearer Picture
So far this item is working wonderfully, it seems to be working great and doing exactly as the advertisement says it will do. It's not picking up any more channels than my simple rabbit ears did, but the picture does look a little clearer and sharper. The antenna booster was delivered quickly and in excellent condition, the price was really good. I am pleased with the seller, and very happy with my purchase.1/31/2015 UPDATE:I found out that I didn't have the amplifier connected in the right way, now that I have it connected correctly, it's working like a charm! I have two HDTV Antenna's with the amplifiers in two different rooms, and they are both working great! I'm picking up 29 channels in my bedroom and 26 in my living room; and I think that's only because I the bedroom antenna is mounted on a glass window, and the living room antenna is on an antenna stand. I've got a bunch of channels to watch, on both televisions and they're coming in clear as glass! I was really happy to be able to get rid of my Comcast cable and believe me they bent over backwards trying to get me to keep my account with them, but now with the 1byone HDTV Antenna with the High Gain Low Noise Amplifier Signal Booster and my internet streaming Blu Ray player, I don't need to shell out $155.00 every month anymore. I LOVE this thing and I'm so happy that Amazon came through for me again!UPDATE 02/08/2015: The antenna worked on my living room television until today, when all of a sudden it stopped getting all of the local major stations (especially ABC). I went through the auto channel setting of my television over and over and even after standing outside holding the antenna in the air I couldn't get all of my stations, even with the booster! I've since unhooked this antenna and started using my old rabbit ears, which look awful but I get 29 digital channels and 2 analog channels. I'm very upset because the antenna that I had on my living room television was only pulling in 26 stations on the stand and now it started only pulling in 20 and that was if I stood outside on my balcony, once I bought the antenna inside I would lose stations. My $10.00 rabbit ears are bringing in more stations than this antenna, and I'm very disappointed. I didn't know these antenna's have a shelf life.

So here's what this is really great for:
This booster cane with my antenna, and I was excited to try it out - I get a few more channels in my bedroom, maybe 15 feet away, than I do in my living room, despite both televisions being next to west-facing windows, so I was hopeful it would pick those elusive channels up on the main set. Spoiler: it didn't.HOWEVER.I have cable on the tv in question, and use a splitter to get OTA hd signals on broadcast channels, too. It's just a regular, dumb splitter (I mean, one terminal is marked "IN" and three are marked "OUT," but I figured, how would it know the difference?), with both my incoming cable and the antenna coming in and one line going out to the tv. (So channel 3 is all my cable channels, and my OTA channels are whatever they are.) The only downside was that my cable signal looked... Well, like crap. Fuzzy, almost a little snowy. Certainly liveable, but it was bugging me. Then I remembered this little "dud" sitting in a drawer and installed it between the cable line and the splitter. Voila! Beautiful picture, whether cable or OTA. It strengthened that signal perfectly, even if it wasn't a magical device that gave me every channel over my antenna. For that, I call it a darn good "freebie," and worth considering if you're in the market for such a thing.

Works Perfectly in Pennsylvania
Recently, I was able to review the 1byOne 25 mile antenna and along with it came this signal booster. I didn't know what to expect from this booster as I have never used one before. I live fairly close to Downtown Pittsburgh so I didn't think it would give me much of a boost of the signal. I decided to try it out, and I did not expect it to pick up as many channels as it did!Right off the bat judging by the box alone I felt like this would be an awesome product to use, I love the red and white color scheme and the details on the box made me feel as if 1byOne really knew what they were doing with this product before they shipped it. I feel as if 1byOne knows what they are doing when coming from an antenna standpoint. They made a wonderful antenna that took my channels from 22 to an awesome 34 channels with crystal clear quality. Unboxing the booster was simple and easy, simply take the booster out of the box, then plug the box into the back of your TV, from there plug the box in (Yes, this booster uses power, the small red light stays on at all times.) With this, you are done and I was enjoying my TV. After a small channel search, I went from a fairly good 34 channels to an incredible 45 channels with this booster and I was watching TV in no time.If you read my last review I told you that I currently do not have a cable plan, I only use over-the-air and Netflix for my entertainment. This is fine with me because I usually play my PS4 or Xbox One anyway, but those times where my job becomes unbearably hard and I like to relax. So, with an internet connection, this booster, and an antenna I have all the TV entertainment I need. Many people are going this route and I can see why I easily save $100 a month just by cutting cable and using an antenna to get most of the channels I watch anyway.I have read cases where this booster can actually make your signal worse if you are especially close to a broadcasting station. For me, I did not have this problem at all, every single channel came in clearer and at a 20% stronger signal on average. I love this booster, and I don't think I will ever use my antenna without it. You can use this booster to pass through the signal meaning you can unplug it and test for yourself to test your signal and channel numbers with and without the booster. For me, however, I feel 1byOne hit a homerun with this product.I recivied this product in exchange for an honest, unbiased review of this product.
