The pillow itself is great. I use it for writing, as my shoulder fatigues very easily with micro-tears in my rotator cuff. The strap is very scratchy on bare skin, so where long sleeves with it, but the benefits of it outweigh some strap discomfort.

This arm pillow was great for me, a restless sleeper. While recovering from shoulder surgery, this pillow worked comfortably for me during the first 6 weeks when I needed to keep a pillow under my elbow while I slept. Having the security of the strapped-on pillow that kept it under my arm helped me sleep at ease. Then for the next 12 weeks, keeping the pillow on while I slept, kept me from rolling onto the surgical shoulder, as prescribed.

The arm strap is EXACTLY as long as the width of the cushion - with ZERO overlap so you can't extend the strap out. What where they thinking?? The cushion is smaller than I expected, but seems to be a useful size. I wish the strap was useful. That's why I bought it.

I had breast surgery on Tuesday! I ordered this Saturday night and got it Sunday! I needed it to so bad!!!
