Icontrol Networks Piper Classic?All-in-One Security System with Video Monitoring Camera, Black

I've had two Pipers in my house for five years and they have worked great (one upstairs and one in the basement). Other people say they have had problems keeping them connected to the internet but that might be that their internet is the problem. My home internet router is strong and therefore I have no problems. I have three door sensors and three smart switches controlling lights and everything works great. Now I am pretty tech savvy and have not needed to contact tech support so I cannot speak to that aspect.

I have a love hate relationship with this device. I love that I can keep tabs of what's going on but I hate that this device constantly disconnects from my internet and that I have to be home to reestablish service. It never fails to disconnect when I'm on vacation rendering the unit useless. I have Ring cameras and they are so much better. Pass on this item and get a Ring.

This devise won't stay connected to the internet. When it drops off the alarm goes off uncontrollably. Support is completely useless. They just send instructions to reset. I bet I have reset my 4 pipers 100 times.
