I work from home and have an office set up with 2 additional monitors. There are times when I need to be mobile so working on just the small laptop screen alone makes my work difficult. Adding the 2nd screen is super easy and works great. I've been using this for almost 2 years and love it so much that I recommend it to my peers. The best part is that it is plug and play, meaning that you don't have to download any software which could cause issues if using this with a company PC.

It's currently 10/6 that I'm making this review and this product was delivered to me on 10/2. Here's what I have to say.This is a GREAT second monitor to have. The speed and quality to me are great and I definitely feel I can work twice as fast with it. I did run into an issue with magnets (the first time). I didn't know how to position them properly and ended up destroying the first set. However, the second time was a lot better so I still have one spare set left and the monitor fits well on my laptop now.When I placed the second magnets on my laptop, I put some heavy items ontop of my laptop for at least 1 hr to make sure the magnets stuck and it has worked ever since. This isn't the type of monitor you can just pick up with your laptop and walk around the house with (Unless you have it in the case on the back of your pc but it may swing your monitor back to far if you're not careful), but it is good if you're sitting in a chair and recliner. I have a flimsy laptop screen but it doesn't effect it at all. It fits into my backpack just fine and the two cords we have are helpful for plugging things up.I combined this monitor with 3 items of purchase, my gaming laptop, a portable cooling fan, and a lap desk tray with a retractable mousepad. It's a wonderful work station though can be a bit heavy to carry in your backpack unless those are the only things you carry.Ultimately this is a 4 star because of the trouble with magnets, it's tricky to sheath my second minor unless the laptop is closed, and it came with a small scratch but nothing worth worry about. Still a purchase worth buying instead of a completely separate monitor that hogs up space on a table.

My monitor crapped out after two days of use. I spoke with an Amazon tech consultant who said it sounded like there was a problem with the device and suggested I exchange or return it. I asked for a refund. Here's what I thought before it died: (I have a 2017 13" MacBook Air.)PROS:*Wasn't hard to set up.*It's portable.*I didn't want a monitor to take up much space, and this can even hang over the edge of a small table.Cons:*It costs a lot more than an economical larger monitor.*The screen quality is good enough but could be much brighter.*When it's attached to the back of the laptop, it can't sit flush. It has to hang over one side a bit to allow the screen to swivel. No big deal, but it looks clunky.*It is easy to remove the monitor from the laptop when it's not being used. It attaches with magnets. The metal discs that adhere to the laptop cover, however, are meant to stay on the laptop, and they add considerable weight. This compromised the lightness of my MacBook Air. They are also unattractive.*You have to use a blow dryer to heat the glue to remove the metal discs. I didn't feel comfortable attaching them to my laptop directly and bought a cover, which also added weight. (The blow dryer worked, and there were no marks left on the cover when I removed the discs.)If the monitor worked I would have kept it and hoped that someday there would be a more elegant model.

Packaging was very good and instructions were thorough which helped in the installment of the screen to the back of my think pad. The magnets are strong which is good and the screen is light, my ThinkPad doesn’t struggle to hold itself up with the monitor piggy backing on it. The resolution is good for the price and so is the brightness. The wires provided are custom fit which is good because otherwise they would be dangling off the laptop and get pretty annoying. Being able to slide it back and store my laptop in my backpack is very nice. I think this is a great purchase.
