Great album, but way tooooo short!
I discovered the Weeknd when he did a few songs for Fifty Shades of Grey and have been stalking him on Vivo and iHeart radio. First and only album I've bought of his. Wish it was longer. It's often a video that picks my interest to listen to the artist in the first place. It would be great if artists would offer their music along with the video. Not really a pop person, I'm more of a loyal country soul, but I wander of the beaten path every now and then.

Yep....that's the feeling.
Another winner from this guy here! His voice carries all throughout the love, love hurts, and sex songs, yet, it's the music performed. It had a haunting quality. Kinda sad...but not sad. Kinda funky...but held back the total funky package. It was...just....on another level that seems to be different from what we've been given before from him. All in all, it was still the total package that I loved...and hated because it was only 6 songs long. ANOTHER WINNER HERE!!!

He’s back!!
So, don’t get me wrong, I love me some “starboy” but the album itself (the song was amazing) was just ok to me in comparison to his old stuff. This new cd is like the trilogy album all over again!!!! I LOVE IT!! If you’re on the fence, just get it. Try out “hurt you”- ive been listening to it on and off repeat since the cd dropped and I’m still in love!

I love every track on this album
I love every track on this album. I wasn't a fan of The Weeknd before, but now I see I need to go back and listen to some of his earlier work. My only complaint, which is small, is the use of synthesizers and similar computer altered vocals in many of the pieces. Everyone is doing this in rap/R&B music today, it's not a crime I hold against anyone. I just feel like his voice is strong enough that he really doesn't need to be altered or enhanced, and the robotic tones/effects flatten rather than improve some of the vocal nuances in the songs. It's probably just me, I still love the album, but I felt a little disappointed around track 3 when I noticed that.
