These were exactly what I needed. The previous owner of my 04 VW New Beetle cut the headlight pigtails that would normally slide right into my hid xenon headlights. I had to find a wiring diagram to match up what color wires matched to the pins, then splice them together. My headlight connector has 9 pins, so I just had to remove one wire on each pigtail on the correct pin. I'm by no means a mechanic, and have never done a repair like this, but it was rather simple and straightforward. I really like how this set has a nice long length to work with compared to some shorter ones I've seen. The wires and connector are nice quality and sturdy.
