I ordered 2 of these - delivered in record time. I gave my sister one of these for her back yard party area. After a week of running the system, there was a surprising number of insects of various types in the trap - approved!I took my device and turned it on inside my home as I've had mosquito issues inside. After a week, I checked the trap, not knowing what to expect. There was over 50 bugs dead in the trap! I should have taken pictures but didn't.This thing WORKS!

Love the DynaTrap DT1130SR! It’s super effective at catching mosquitoes and flies, works quietly, and covers a large area. Easy to set up and clean—perfect for indoor and outdoor use. Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking at these on Amazon for a couple years and finally purchased one when the price looked good. It works great! My one and only issue with it is that it doesn’t kill the bugs and only traps them. I’m finding that it’s challenging to choose a time to empty the trap because there’s always living bugs in there, specifically the houseflies. I unplugged it one evening before a rainstorm and checked the next day. Most of the bugs were dead after sitting overnight with no active inflow of new bugs. So I dumped it at that time. If you leave it running 24/7, there will always be living bugs in the trap.

leave it on 24/7 and it will make a dent in your mosquito population. It wont entirely eradicate the issue, but it will make it much better.

Horrible productThis did NOT catch any mosquitoes, but it did murder tons of good moths and some June bugs and the dead moths then attracted ants everywhere. Moths are important pollinators and a vital food source for birds. We should not kill moths. Horrible product fails to get mosquitoes and kills good beneficial insects like moths and bees. I'm returning this product. It should be outlawed for killing beneficial creatures like bees and moths. They need to have a filtering screen over the opening with holes small enough to keep moths and bees out, but big enough to allow mosquitoes to pass through, but they don't, it is just a big indiscriminate open circle that allows big insects to get sucked in. Design is bad and gives no thought to protecting beneficial insects. DynaTrap DT1130SR Mosquito is the worst product. I advise do not buy it.

I. AN IDIOT. WAS NOT SURE IF THE PRODUCT WAS WORKING AFTER 8 HOURS.I. AN IDIOT. OPENED THE PRODUCT AND LOOKED INTO THE CATCH BIN WHERE I HAD PLACED A MOSQUITO SMELL BAIT.NO LESS THAN 20 MOSQUITOS FLEW OUT OF THE MACHINE AND INTO MY ROOM IN THE 5 SECONDS I HAD IT OPENED.PRODUCT IS WORKING AS INTENDED BUT MAYBE MY BRAIN ISN’T. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Looks very cheap in quality compared to previous model where you manually had to turn the lamp to turn it on. I don’t know if they got bought out by some private equity group or what, but I am returning. Instantly noticed the cheap black plastic compared to the nice painted finish of previous models. The cheap cardboard box it ships in compared to the full color one. It’s like an accountant got a hold of the company and cut out all the premium stuff.The auto close flaps, and one button release for upper and bottom hatches are great engineering improvements, as well as the easy to use on off button. However for this price I expect a better finish than cheap looking black plastic.

I bought this for my dad who lives in a rural area that is plagued by wasps, flies and mosquitoes in the summer. I'm talking a minimum of 5-10 mosquito bites a day, usually even with Off spray and sometimes biting through clothing! So when I saw this product and some of the reviews with containers full of mosquitoes I thought this was the answer to all of his problems. Fast forward a week later and the thing hasn't caught a dang mosquito, fly or wasp. What it has caught is a lot of moths and a butterfly :( I honestly didn't even know my dad had a lot of moths, I've never seen them, but I guess the black light attracts them at night. Seeing as how the moths are not a nuisance and it's catching nothing that is, this product is not worth the money. I don't know if I needed to buy scent packs or something else but at this price having to spend more is daunting. If you have a moth problem though, this is your product!
