Excellent Mashtastic Device
The Heltec v3 has almost become synonymous with Meshtastic, 85%+ of the devices I see out there are Heltec v3s. This package is great to get you started with the world of Meshtastic; you have everything you need to made your first node. The Device does not come flashed with Meshtastic firmware out of the box but this is easy to do following the simple steps online. Whilst thr included antenna is not going to win any awards, it is completely capable of picking up nodes when you are outside.

lora lora board
I purchased and tried the DIYmalls 868MHz LoRa V3 LoRa32 ESP32 OLED Board, and I’m really impressed with its capabilities. This board combines the ESP32's processing power with LoRa for long-range communication, making it perfect for IoT projects. The built-in OLED display is sharp and convenient, especially for debugging. Setup was fairly easy, and it worked well . Range and connectivity were solid for testing in open areas. Overall, a versatile and reliable board for anyone working on LoRa-based projects.

L'objet correspond bien à mes attentes. Je suis encore en train d'effectuer des tests de portées mais je suis déjà satisfaits.

If the system allowed, I would have knocked off a fractional part of a star because the screen decal was crooked. At first, I thought it was the PC board, but no. It is just a decal on the case. Not a big deal except it makes the text look catywompus. Thankfully, the sticker glue is really goopy, so it peels off easily-ish. Be careful, and the sticker can be repositioned straight. Other than triggering my OCD, the unit works perfectly. 100% recommend the hardware.

This started out to be a good antenna but the antenna keeps falling out (too loose) and a couple days later, the board just stopped working. Returned for refund.
