I was really excited to try this ice cream roller maker pan—it looked like a fun activity for the kids and a cool way to make rolled ice cream at home.Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the promise.Pros:Fun concept: The idea of making rolled ice cream at home is great and the kit looked nice out of the box.Kid-friendly activity: It kept the kids entertained for a bit, even if the results weren’t great.Cons:Doesn’t freeze properly: Even after freezing the pan for hours (as instructed), the mixture never got firm enough to roll. Just turned into a slushy mess.Poor build quality: The pan feels flimsy and didn’t stay cold for long. Not what you’d expect for the price.More hassle than it’s worth: Prep time, cleanup, and disappointing results make it more frustrating than fun.We ended up just scooping the mixture and eating it like regular ice cream. Might be okay for a novelty gift, but don’t expect professional results—or even proper rolls. Save your money unless it’s on deep discount and you're in it just for the experiment.
