My wife wanted a night light for our bedroom but something a little bit different. This globe with the moon inside is perfect, just enough light to see when you have to get up in the middle of the night but not too much light that it would bother your sleeping. It’s well made and is beautiful. We are really pleased with this item.

My husband bought this for me because he wanted to give me the moon and the stars - isn’t he adorable and thoughtful! I’ve placed it in our living room, at the bottom of stairs, so that I can see it during the day, and it lights up the room and the adjacent stairwell during the night. This brightens so well at night that our senior dog no longer has trouble with the stairs. During the day it’s unobtrusive, and makes a nice ornament. It’s of good quality and gets lots of compliments from science-minded friends for its accuracy. I’d prefer if it came with a longer cord and a socket plug instead of the USB that came with it. But, we bought an adapter. There’s no remote and I haven’t found an on-off switch, so we just leave it on. It doesn’t overheat, and isn’t expensive to operate.

This item is meant to be a decoration; besides that, it is very useful for a child's bedroom at bedtime. The warm light is very cozy, and the item is well-made. Be aware that it does not include a power adapter.
