These boots are EXCELLENT value for money. I use them for muddy dog walks. They are very comfortable as they have a fleece lining - hence warm and keep my feet completely dry even in awful weather. Buy the size you normally buy - initially they may feel a little snug but the fleece lining soon flattens out and then they will feel more roomy and you can add socks. They are easy to pull on and off and MUCH more comfortable than wearing normal wellies. I highly recommend them. I got the blue ones. Doesn't really matter what colour they are as they are covered in mud!! :)

Bought for daily dog walking. I ordered my size which is 5 and they fit well with a normal sock on. No real need to order larger size to wear thick sock with as inside is well cussioned and warm.. As soon as they arrived I popped them on and went for a long muddy walk. They were comfortable right away. They are also lighter than other boots I have had which is great as I wear them a lot. Even though the front bit has Velcro to adjust, my foot slips on without using this, also great as less messing around. Great for the price.January 2019These boots are so good in terms of durability and comfort that this is the first product I have ever updated a review. 16 months after buying them and I am not kidding I have worn them every single day in every type of weather for long dogwalks through all types of terrain even climbed in them, they are still going strong and still so comfy. I keep checking them to see if they need replacing as can not believe it. So good to find something that is value for money and durable. Great. Thanks.

My concern was how waterproof they were, when purchasing these boots - well they are waterproof - very thick rubber boot with a soft upper. Great to put on and velcro closed.The inside of the upper part of the rubber boot is sharp, where it meets the upper material. I didn't initially realise that the inner lining could be removed to put your foot into it before inserting in to the boot. My foot was initially pushing the lining down until I realised that.However the first two dog walks produced cuts in my achilles tendon - still trying to heal that a week later. However, I had to insert stiff cardboard between the lining and the back of the boot to stop the harsh edge of the heel from trying to cut into my Achilles tendon.They are now fine to walk in and the cardboard stops the sharp edge cutting me. I would have thought that this would have easily been sorted in the initial stages of design and easily rectified by smoothing or chamfering that sharp inner edge.Over all at £25 I guess you can't grumble - with the cardboard mod they are fine for a half hour dog walk. The inner sock/lining is very comfortable.

These boots are awesome. I'm a 9 but ordered a 10 to leave room for thick socks. They fit me great. They have a lovely cosy padded inner so my feet feel snug inside. Love the Velcro openings so I don't have to tie laces. The rubber feels very sturdy. Love the short calf height. Very quick to slip on and off. Love suede (Looking? Not real suede I guess? Could be...) top...looks great.Not heavily tested on muddy dog walks yet but I'll update if problems. Otherwise, great value, thrilled with them. See pics for info.

These have a GroundWork badge on them which wasn’t on the listing, I would have avoided if I had known this as my last pair by that company didn’t last a week.I thought it would have been unfortunate and decided to hold onto them, after half a dozen short walks with the dog on a patch of grass no rougher than a golf course fairway these have done the exact same as the last pair and are splitting between the soul and main boot, therefore letting water in.These are meant to be for mucking about a yard with horses.Good luck with that as these are in no way fit for walking the dog.

Bought these to be able to slip on/off quickly for outdoor chores just outside the house, around the garden and even as far as the local postbox AND... to keep my feet warm in winter. The "foot" part of each boot is like a welly, the upper part is probably not waterproof but water repelling - inside, is a removable (I suspect) fleece-like liner. I find wellies uncomfortable but these are OK. I bought the unpopular (pronounced "cheap") navy blue on a no-risk return basis, so difficult to go wrong. So far, so good for my intended light duty use and I'm optimistic for 2 or 3 years light use.

OK but have reservations. The fit is possible as expected but on reading reviews I went for a size up i.e. I am a 9/9.5 so I got a 10 but find them just a little too large but there again the 9 may have been just that bit too small so because I only use them to go to my chooks, I am not bothered. Inner lining slides down a bit when putting them on and they have a weird fitting. Could not walk too far me thinks - angle on feet feels not the best. Could not recommend for long distance. Also when you walk, if not careful the inner Velcro flap can catch against the other Velcro inner flap on the other foot. Ok if you have bandy legs :-)

Very pleased - wore them this weekend in torrential rain through wet fields with my dog and my feet stayed dry. I ordered a size 5 which is my normal size and because they are so heavily lined I am glad I didn't go up a size to accommodate thick socks because I don't think i'll need to. The front panel makes it easily adjustable so you can have them a bit loose like a welly or tighter like a ski boot. Very happy, please do not stop making them all the while I have a dog to walk!
