I actually enjoyed this
First of all I am aware that some fans don't like this collection of demos and bootleg live recordings but as a record of some significant chapters in the bands history it's not to be missed. The first CD of demos, unheard mixes etc is really interesting and spans the band's early years (with a cracking version of Dawnrazor from 1985) and then progresses to include the 1997 deeper track featuring the wright brothers, mccoy and petit (temporarily together after a 6 year hiatus). The second cd of a live set from 2000 is not the best quality, granted, but the set is fascinating and shows the band during a time when, their sound was much more 'metal'. I loved the versions of Moonchild and For Her Light, not because they were better than the original line up, but because the power chords are so entertaining. The DVD is, well, pretty much just a bootleg but it's great to see the early performances from 1986 and the set from 2000, like the CD from the same year is a really interesting one to see.Overall it's a sketchy collection, but it's great.

Please don't buy this release
As mentioned in the previous review it is basically a collection of dodgy remixes (I cant tell the difference to the originals) and awful bootleg footage and recordings. Please feel free as a collector to get this box set as there is one great remix of Power but its a lot of money for one track.A ripoff basically, but one you can understand from Jungle as Carl McCoy didnt do them any favours.

A Word of Warning
I bought this because, probably, like you, I am a long term Nephilim fan.I was very disappointed in the DVD, the Mera Luna festival footage is from a fan in the audience with heads bobbing up and down in front of the camera. The other video footage is more of the same really, shaky cameras that make you feel sick after a while - so don't buy this for the DVD.The live disc was recorded at the Roskilde festival in 2000 which is a good gig and worth listening to, but its been available on the internet for years. The first disc is basically remixes that were done in 2006 by The Stanton Brothers and with no input from the band, there's a couple of early demos too. To be honest I wish i'd known this before I bought it but I am a bit of a Nef fanatic. At least you know about the product now rather than the politics behind it.

Is Carl telling the truth?
They may not want it released, but according to Jungle, members of the Nephilim are happy to take the money. This is an argument that could run and run. That aside, it isn't an amazing release, but if you are a fan then you'll enjoy the DVD, some early live performances which are not great quality, but worth seeing.Whilst the CD is far from a revelation, it reminded me what a good album Dawnrazor is and one of the Power remixes is remarkably good. I've been a Nephilim fan for a long time and as there were no live gigs this year, something is better than nothing.

Not an official release
Extract from the Nephilim website:'Please be aware that this 'product', which claims to include previously unreleased audio tracks and audio-visual live footage from the band, is no more than a shoddy concoction of generally low quality recordings and bootlegs, much of which have been freely available on the Internet for years. The release contains no new or official material, and is not sanctioned, sponsored or condoned in any way by Fields of the Nephilim... and we urge all fans to boycott this'

Exploitative rubbish
Looks like a bootleg and sounds like one. The video footage is really appalling. Carl McCoy isn't too pleased about the release of this and I'm not surprised.
