Q: What size are the chips?

They are smaller than credit card size They are a heavy duty paper--like paint chips-- with a very shiny, glossy surface that reflects any and all available light. This makes the cards (swatches/paint chips) hard to use. There is so much glare off the surface, that it is difficult to judge them when holding them next to a fabric. These color swatches used to be fabric swatches which were easy to use. I do not like this edition of the product.

Q: Does each color say if it is true, clear, or bright spring?

No. I do not like this product. Fabric swatches are so much more useful than high gloss colors on oak tag.

Q: Is this fabric or some other material

It is card stock paperboard. The 1980's version was fabric in a vinyl folder.
