We've had one we bought in Nova Scotia for years and bought this one for our daughter in law. Wonderful!

The cutting board came defective , other customers cited on previous reviews . Very poor quality control by a company that states they have the best cutting board in the market . Very disappointing experience. Very fancy video of how they make the cutting board but very poor quality.

The board arrived covered in a lot of wax which I wiped off. I’ve applied about an entire bottle of mineral oil to it over the last few months and it just drinks it up. It’s much softer than a lot of other edge grain boards like walnut which is great for keeping your nice Japanese knives from dulling too fast. Haven’t had any problems with it. This was my first proper cutting board and I’m very happy with it.

I'm bewildered as to why no one has reviewed this cutting board before...let me be the first. First of all, packaging: it comes perfectky packaged, very protected. As soon as I took off the protecting plastic wrap I could feed the quality and smoothness of the wood, not to mention it’s striking beauty! I’ve had many cutting boards before but nothing as beautiful as this one. And to top it off…it comes with rubber feet! No more slipping boards. Overall, I’d recommend this board it you cook alot or even if you just like how it looks. It’s a bit pricey…but you DO get what you paid for. 100/10

Dislike? obviously the price. Other than that it's big enough for most jobs, its solid and feels great to use, the soft rubber feet will grip almost all surfaces so it doesn't move around, also makes it easy to pick up and put down so you're not smashing your finger tips. Definitely a long term addition to any kitchen. It comes pre-treated with a beeswax or oil, so wash before use.

I really wanted to like these boards but the first one had developed a crack after 1 week. I hadn’t even used the board yet and was applying cutting board conditioner when I noticed the crack. I got a replacement and after 2 weeks the glue started to come apart. I made sure to be really careful and follow the care instructions. I wanted these to last several years but I was disappointed.

You know how you keep sneaking another look at something as you pass it by, because it’s that gorgeous? How a new tool that makes a mundane chore an absolute pleasure? And all at the same time, garnering immediate attention and compliments from family and friends upon seeing it? Yes, that’s this cutting board. Lifetime level quality. 10/10

It was defective! Had a bow that bent downwards in the middle about 1/4".
