I needed a decent graphics card in a laptop for AI and was looking at gaming laptops, but this is a good compromise for people who need it's features without a garish laptop that looks like a disco. 16" is perfect, and much more useable for work than a 14" which I'm used to. No touchscreen, and only one USB/thunderbolt port - but around this price point there's always compromises. Thunderbolt will allow me to buy an eGPU later if I really need one, but so far it runs local LLM/AI with ease compared to running on my old laptop's CPU. It comes with a 130w USB charger, which then takes up the single USB/Thunderbolt port so I bought a 130w power adapter to keep that free. On that point, if you're a power user or gamer, you'll need 130w power to get the most out of the GPU and processor. The graphics card is limited in power (watts) compared to "proper" gaming laptops, but that hasn't affected me in my (non-gaming) use so far. It does get warm, as you'd expect - it's virtually a gaming laptop, and has two fans inside - so consider a riser or laptop cooler - but it's fine without for normal tasks. It has two SSD slots, which is handy. The ram is upgradeable and I've put 64GB in it - which was easy. The camera allows blurring of backgrounds and uses AI to make it look as if you're looking forward, even when you're not. It's a solid machine, not too chunky but feels substantial, looks professional, I've enjoyed the keyboard and trackpad so far and the fingerprint reader is useful. It's rapid and takes everything in it's stride, although I haven't tested it on games yet - but with this laptop, I just might! I spent ages researching what would work best for me, and I'm happy with my choice. Amazon have the new Alienware 16 Aurora Gaming Laptop AC16250 which is similar/better spec - but slightly more "gamer" looking and two USBC ports instead of one Thunderbolt 4.

Very impressive. Feels light years better than the Lenovo it is repacing. I got this for myself initially but ended up taken over by my student daughter as it is very cool! Even the packaging was perfection. Thumbs Up Dell!

It is a very good laptop and I like it a lot. Only complaint is that the price on Amazon for this laptop is more than £1k where it is £899 on Dell official website with the exact same configuration. It is definitely a more traditionally-styled laptop, it's very weighty compared to many thin & lights. I assumed it would be light since it's ARM but that wasn't the case. Fan gets loud if you push it, again, I assumed it's gonna run quiet since it's ARM, but the fan sound is similar to an X86 laptop.

Good laptop

This laptop was delivered quickly. I noticed the date that it was sent to Amazon to a specific person was April 24 and it is now October. This Dell laptop was faulty and there had to be several updates installed . There were no instructions. Amazon got UPS to pick it up very quickly - there was no hassle. Requested a full refund.

This is a very powerful computer, runs Microsoft Flight Simulator perfectly at highest display settings. Really pleased with it. It also updates frequently which is good.

I use a lot of adobe creative cloud software and it flies through it like a dream. It also has been performing great with games like black ops 6 & starfield. Best performance is had when plugged in and can get hot but works fantastic.
