Iexcellent but with Some niggles
My first drone. Very impressed. Video footage is amazing quality. Doesn’t go anywhere near the distance claimed, though there are plenty of trees where I am. I guess this blocks the signal earlier but really I’m not even getting 1km before it loses contact with controller. I suppose the real test would be sending it out to sea while standing on beach. In reality there will always be serious obstructions on land. So claims of 10km to 20km seem ridiculous to me. Also be aware, you need a memory card (the tiny one). It doesn’t come with one which seems a bit mean. I also recommend paying the extra and getting the three-battery charger etc (the extra £99 accessory package). The battery does not last long. Incredibly still no memory card included in this. Again even if you could fly it 10km +, it’s gonna run out of battery probably well before getting back. That said, this is excellent. Easier to get going from zero knowledge than anticipated though I did watch a couple of vids of guys flying this drone. If you’re a newbie, take it steady and fly it quite high. If it crashes into anything you aren’t getting it back!

This Compact Drone Flies Far & Delivers Great Shots
The media could not be loaded. This is a really excellent drone! It's incredibly compact and lightweight, and capable of capturing some truly great shots. I've flown it quite far with only minor connection problems, and the controller feels very well-built.The camera boasts excellent stability and delivers good picture quality. The drone's functionality allows for capturing stunning scenery and all sorts of other shots, or it can simply be used for a bit of pure fun. Personally, I primarily use it for enjoyment and taking photos. The accompanying app is very easy to use and even includes built-in editing software and a gallery. The only issue I've encountered is the battery life, which only lasts about 20 minutes. You can, however, purchase additional batteries, which I would highly recommend – though they can be a bit pricey. If you're looking for a good and affordable drone, this one is an outstanding choice; it's truly one of the best and most affordable options on the market. However, if your goal is longer flight times, I would definitely suggest getting some extra batteries alongside it, or perhaps considering other DJI drones available. Hope this helps :)

The best budget drone in the world (probably)
Over the years I’ve had cheap model aircraft including helicopters and found them frustratingly difficult to fly. I looked at various drones on YouTube and it was clear that cheaper drones all seem to have ‘issues’ such as poor stability or mediocre cameras. The DJI Mini 4k seemed to be the exception.I’ve now flown mine several times over the past few weeks clocking up approximately 10 miles flown, and have been amazed. The drone is well built and so easy to fly. The video and photo quality is simply unsurpassed for the price. The controller is solid and precise, and the built in safety features (ability to set height and distance, return to home) just provides an overall confidence boost in the equipment.Although the Mini 4k is under 250g you must obtain an Operator ID from the CAA (£11.13 in 2025 and renewable annually) or you risk prosecution .The CAA also advise getting a Flyer ID which is free valid for 5 years. This involves a short course and a test requiring an 80% scores (it’s pretty basic stuff and you can retake as often as needed). There are proposals to make Operator and Flyer IDs mandatory and the introduction of Remote ID for all drones over 100g from Jan 2026 - the CAA website has more information.Overall, a great piece of kit and highly recommended.

Boys and their toys
I brought this for my husband at Christmas and now we feature it and it's amazing views we capture on our YouTube [email protected] is excellent and we control it via our iPad for a bigger view to see where we are aiming. Birds are not a fan, but we love it and it can stand upto 25mph winds, but in all honesty we only did this once at low level, as the further away it got, the harder it was to control, however for what we use it for, we are 100% loving it.

Incredible Drone.
I Was between this one and a rival companies drone when researching which was the best to get and I absolutely made the right choice with the Mini 4K. Perfect for either a first time flyer or an intermediate user and super easy to get up and running and control in the air. Was surprised how small it was when I first saw it, but that’s a real advantage. Build quality is exceptional and if you can stretch to the flymore kit, then do it. It’s extremely good value for money. Bonus that it’s lightweight, as under 249 grams has less restriction for use. Would 100% recommend this drone. I really can’t find negatives with it.

Good drone, but range in the UK nowhere near advertised level.
It's a great drone for a beginner, but the advertising is a bit misleading - the EU and UK are subject to CE standards as opposed to FCC, and transmission strength is much lower, so there's no way it can achieve the advertised range in the UK. Slightly disappointing it starts to lose signal at 600m in a clear area. Other than that, it's simple to operate and the camera is really good for an amateur/beginner.

Impressive little drone, great picture quality.
I love my new drone. It is an amazing piece of kit. It takes great pictures and amazing video thanks to the stabilisation of the camera through the gimbal. It will hover in the spot you stop at in good conditions. Even with a strong wind, it will handle quite well. I agree with some comments about the range. It is affected by your surroundings. All in all, a great purchase and has given me a lot of enjoyment.

Everything you need for a first drone
Great drone for beginners or experienced flyers. For a small drone, holds its own on windy days. Easy to fly and return to home is handy if you lose site of it. Brilliant 4k video footage, definitely 5 stars and highly recommend.
