Very pleased with this product, always a bit wary of knife sharpeners, but my worries were unfounded. It does a very good job with very easy use, please read the instructions before using, and leaves a very good finish on the knives after use. The collection trays are easy to empty and well incorporated in the unit. I found i did not have to use the 3rd slot hand sharpener as the knives were completely honed. Very good tool.

I have never had sharper knives ! this has been the best sharpener ever (we have at least 10 !) Can not recommend it enough. Can be a bit hard on the knives but worth it !

I carried out a fair bit of research before opting for this Sharpeak 198h-SPK Knife Sharpener. I have two sets of knives, one is an older mid-price range set which, despite regularly using a sharpening steel/wand, were becoming very dull and a newer, more expensive Zwilling set. I practiced on the older set first and soon found out that the best results were obtained by using only gentle pressure with long even, uniform strokes whilst working across the three slots from coarse to fine (1 to 3). The results obtained were Very Impressive to the point where I had to leave a Post-It Note by the knives warning that they had been sharpened. The Zwilling set only required two or three strokes through either slot 2 and slot 3 or even just slot 3. The unit has two grip pads on the underside which holds it reasonably securely on the worktop, however I do tend to hold it in place with one hand during use as it is very important that the strokes are uniform throughout. A much better result than my previous sharpening steel and whilst it is not cheap, it does a good job, but bear in mind that some older, cheaper knives may never become razor sharp. Easy to use with no issues to date and as such, Highly Recommended!

Très bon affûteur électrique, simple d’utilisation et surtout redoutablement efficace. Peu importe l’état de la lame, même bien émoussée ou abîmée, il parvient à la rattraper sans difficulté. Les disques diamantés font un excellent travail, et en quelques passages, on retrouve un tranchant net. Le vrai plus, c’est qu’en combinant l’affûtage avec un passage au cuir derrière, on obtient facilement une lame de rasoir, prête pour des coupes précises et sans effort. Un indispensable pour entretenir ses couteaux sans prise de tête, que ce soit en cuisine ou pour les outils de précision.
