This purports to be an analytical and scientific approach to screenwriting and as such may possibly be useful to a wannabe script editor on a predictable painting-by-numbers style British soap. I found the book beyond uninspiring. Analysing and labelling everything using the method suggested by the book has the bizarre effect of sapping all your creativity. It feels like a labyrinthine tunnel to nowhere with confusing signposts being put up by a madman just to drive the reader crazy. This may well put you off any kind of writing altogether. Sorry but we're talking minus zero ratings here.
