This works well as a cd / radio and produces a good sound. Its nice to listen to the radio with out the need for data sharing etc. The remote is a handy feature making it easy to mute the radio from a distance Battery life is reasonable

There is nothing to dislike, I've been looking for a way to play my cd's for a while now and this fits the bill completely.

Great product, .. but the Volume returning to 'Loud' every time you turn it on is annoying tho .

IT feels light out of the box and it simply got worse as I tested the functions out. Stupid volume and tuning control, I have to turns a scapy cover over the speaker covers, yep, it's so weird. IT does not pick up any stations on the radio without lots of hiss and low volume. Bluetooth is hissy and slow to connect. The sound is atrocious, and worse than the tiniest pocket radio I owned 30 years ago The build quality is also sooo bad. Thin plastic, no battery unit, it has to run on the supplied mains transformer. I'm really shocked how bad this item is. The price point is about £50, but I wouldn't give a fiver for this in a car boot sale even. Ok, it's a bad review, but I can only say what I see, hear and experience. I feel sorry for the seller, but my review is for the potential buyer and I can only say, just don't bother. Spend your fifty quid on something else. I so infrequently give one star reviews, but this one really does deserve it. Sorry folks ...

The boombox came with opened box (seals were unstuck) and as soon as I got it out of the packaging I saw the display plastic cover hanging as seen in the photo: underwhelming first impression, but nothing to pine over as it stuck back easily (but started gapping again - obviously requires some DIY and the original glue won't do). There is an 9V power adapter and paper manual along with the player as well. The design is fine (a bit bulky with a slight nod to the past) and I have to say the rotating LED light speakers (the mesh part) are fun, nice looking and interesting as they double as volume and skip (CD) controls, but the quality of the materials and the overall make of this boombox feels cheap. There are small things that give it right away like the plastic covering the display (opposed to glass), the plastic itself, the tape holding the CD cover securely closed (it left glue on the surface, although it shouldn't as it's supposed to be special type of tape), the handle once you hold it (the boombox tilts, because the weight isn't balanced well and it looks and feels awkward), the CD ROM if you will (I've had my fair share of CD players and systems and can tell the difference). And while I couldn't pay attention to these things less as the BT pairing process was smooth and fast, the radio is ok (not the best reception - it's FM, not DAB) and the controls are easy and convenient, the bad quality of the sound and in particular the bass is a real issue, especially for a boombox and this one unfortunately has it. I won't sugarcoat it: when you use the BT connection (everything sounds so much worse than when you put the radio on): the highs are good, the mids - ok and the lows are just "meh" in the best case. I really was unpleasantly surprised as the radio sounded good (when I could get hold of decent reception - near the window) it was nothing too "wow" and not too bad in any case). I don't own CDs anymore, no devices that use AUX and I'm afraid that nowadays BT is the main (and perhaps preferred) way of connecting devices and this boombox fails to provide decent sound utilizing it. The bass just sounds flat, no depth, no "boom" and if you decrease the volume level you can even hear a static sound interference. Could be the connection, but I somehow doubt it as I connected other phone and the result was the same. In conclusion: if you need FM radio in the open with independent power source (2000mAh rechargeable battery), decent sound and fun LED lights - this is it, but if you're looking for good baseline via BT and radio reception without interference - I can't recommend this particular boombox.

A great boombox! It originally came without a remote control but the seller came through instantly and made it right, sending us a replacement before we’d had a chance to send the original unit back! I wish all Amazon sellers were this responsive! The boombox itself is terrific and the remote means my son can turn it off easily.

Da mein CD-Player plötzlich keine CD's mehr abspielte, habe ich mich nach einem neuen Gerät umgesehen und bin auf dieses Gerät von Klim gestoßen und mich dafür. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig, das Gerät war sicher und ordentlich verpackt. Ich hatte leider ein kleines Problem mit meinem Gerät, kontaktierte den Kundendienst des Verkäufers. Die Antwort erfolgte umgehend und mir wurde anstandslos geholfen. Mit dem Gerät bin ich sehr zufrieden. Für meine Bedürfnisse ist der Klang sehr gut, ich nutze das Gerät ausschließlich für Hörbücher. Eine Fernbedienung hätte ich nicht gebraucht, aber wer weiß, vielleich nutze ich sie irgendwann doch. Das Gerät kann über Strom, aber auch mit Akku betrieben werden. Das gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Form ist auch mal was anderes und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für mich auch. Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Ein großes Lob an den Kundendienst!!!

I'm so glad i made this purchase. After much research and trial and failure i've finally found a solution i can truly claim is exactly what i was looking for. Since this will be my work music-system i needed something clear and capable of delivering music via a variety of media. I won't quite say this is an iPod-killer but it comes close. the USB-drive input is so cool if you don't need to see track-titles or have complete control over how your playlists are sequenced (the random-mode is helpful) USB-drives are cheap so you can have multiple Flash-drives containing a variety of music(s) of your choice (the only limitation being no disks over 64 GB...my unit really seems to like Sandisk). i had no issues whatsoever with CDs skipping....i wish the FM and Am knobs weren't stepped but the increments are tight and i get my favorite FM station clearly. The Volume- knob has 30 steps so you have a very nice range of volume to work with. ...almost twice as much as your mac computer. The audio-input is there if you want to plug in a phone or i-Pod without bluetooth. The unit provides 4 EQ settings plus the default. i've found the Jazz setting to be my favorite...providing a nice clarity across the spectrum for all music. ..it's actually a brilliant little Eq-curve given the speakers.....which is the bottom-line. i won't say this is a 'blaster' or 'boombox' of the sort i'm used to but it packs a better punch with clarity than my 2 old favorite companies' current products in the same price-range. i'm just blown away by this unit as well as the super-folks at KLIM who were immediately responsive when i had an issue with my original unit and immediately sent a replacement the next day. the REMOTE-CONTROL is VERY effective....since some of the work i do means being on ladders several feet away, a reliable remote is essential if i'm playing playlists with jumps in volume or need to skip a track. (in the first photo you can see my little KLIM approximately 15 ft away. i am on this side of the yellow ladder and was still able to to easily get the unit to respond to my remote commands (which i keep wrapped in the original plastic to protect from paint and water). i also think it's important to note that this doesn't sound like a BOSE with truly heft bass....i often work in small bathrooms when people are home so even at low volumes i don't want that much bass....just enough to have things pop and provide some definition. this is a dream unit in that regard.....so whether i'm listening to electronic music or Gordon Lightfoot....the sound is just so very nice... the question becomes how long will it hold up to the abuse i will subject it to?....i'm confident it will hold up just fine...it's build is solid. the package itself is excellent and KLIM throws in cool bumper-stickers.... i don't go around saying how much i love a company but i really love this one. my search is over.....KLIM is my new choice....of course i'd be very excited were they to release a B6-Model.
