Best travel tea kettle
Awesome and compact kettle to bring along with you almost anywhere. I’m a tea die-hard and it’s gone to the office, on many road trips and even on cruises and overseas trips. Very great quality and packable.

Good quality
Works perfect for camping. Makes almost enough hot water for 2 cups of coffee. Heats up fast and hot

Works well
Great kettle but I missed that it offered Dual Voltage 110 V/220 V and used it to warm milk while in Europe. Instantly burnt the bottom of it because it was on the wrong setting. I couldn't get the burnt milk washed out, so ended up eventually throwing out the kettle. However it burnt at the beginning of the trip, and since I had no other way to get hot water for my morning coffee and nightly tea I kept using it with the burnt area and it worked well. I only deducted a star because you have to stand over the kettle to ensure it doesn't boil over. Pretty much as soon as the water starts boiling it bubbles up to the top. But I'll be buying another to replace the burnt one.

Works great!
I bought this as a gift for my husband for traveling, since he loves his coffee and doesn’t like most hotel room coffee options. Turns out we both truly love it. We have used it in hotel rooms and in our camper. We are headed to Europe and had planned to bring it along but we have now decided to go with only carry on luggage and felt like it used too much space. It is sturdy and more stable than I expected it to be. It heats water very quickly just like the larger one we have in our kitchen at home. It is easy to pop up and to disassemble and put away. It is very light weight, but in its case it does use a bit of space. If you travel with checked bags it is perfect to pack and bring along. Car travel or camper is absolutely perfect for this size. Plus the color is lovely. It does have a setting for use in Europe with their higher voltage outlets. This is a great gift for world (or local) travelers!

A bit heavy but very useful for travel
I work for the airlines and also vacation travel a lot. I carry a small pump-style portable espresso maker for work and when we travel since it’s our preferred caffeine medium. Some places don’t have hot water available in the hotel rooms (no tea kettles or just grungy coffee makers) so this is good for that. It would be overkill for just two espressos but we also travel with a couple of vegan backpacker meals on vacation since my wife is allergic to dairy and doesn’t eat meat and it isn’t always easy to find her a decent meal on short notice. She also has some blood sugar / hangry issues so it just makes sense to have a backup plan for her. This is great for those since they require more boiling water. It packs nice and flat with a nice case. It’s a little heavy but for me it’s worth carrying with me. The handle works pretty well and it’s comfortable to pour. The silicone is sturdy enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s going to collapse at any moment and having the option to use other voltages is really nice in other places in the world. It also boils pretty fast

Brilliant idea, but scalding execution
The good: The conceptual design of this kettle is brilliant. I absolutely love how small it is when collapsed. The large, well-weighted base and narrow top also make it super sturdy, which is great when preparing stuff in a crowded camper with two kids crawling all over. The bad: It makes scalding hot water (obviously), but WILL LITERALLY SCALD YOU sooner or later. There are a couple of issues with the actual design of the kettle: 1) When you tip it to pour the water, the steam from inside invariably hits your hand that is holding the handle, leading to a painful reminder of just how hot the water is inside. This seems to be due to the fact that the lid does not seal well, even when it is put in the right direction, and it pretty much happens every time. 2) It is all too easy to put the lid on backward, which will cause the spout-end of the kettle to be sealed off. When trying to our, this causes your unsuspecting loved one to tilt the kettle over further than necessary, which causes more water pressure against the lid, which in turn causes the lid to fall off. With the obstruction out of the way, screams of horror ensue as the hot water pours on the aforementioned loved one's hand holding the Aeropress. This has happened to both of us, but the second time left my wife's hand painfully red for days. NOT FUN NOR SAFE. The lid should be keyed against the top rim of the kettle to prevent it from falling out or should be attached in a more permanent fashion to prevent it from being put on backward. No, that stupid little arrow on the lid is not enough. My previous collapsible kettle (useful TP147) never had this problem, I never once burned myself with it. Unfortunately, that one hit the ground one too many times, so I replaced it with this more compact model. Had I known that this one will lead to pain and suffering (well, yeah, literally), I would have never bought it. So this is likely going in the trash, as I cannot even give it away with a clear conscience.

Wow, this is one gem of an item. It is a quality travel kettle. Switching from 110-220V is simply a matter of turning a screw that can be turned with a dime. It boils water so FAST, under 4 minutes! The features are awesome. Auto-off (switch stays, automatic reheating when temperature drops to 75 degrees C. The base is heavy and the design makes it un-tippable. I like that the silicone is not hot to the touch, even when the water is boiling. And it's interesting that you can see the water boiling thru the silicone. The lid is solid and stays on water tight so it won't splash boiling water on your hands or handle. This is compact vertically, only 2". But it is a fair size 6" X 5" (handle adds the inch) round. The case is nice but when it is in the case it is 8" X 2.75". An option is to forgo the case and just wrap it in a towel when you pack. If you can spare the room and weight, it's the one for you!

You should be very careful when using this it boils over and spills on you and does not stop till you unplug it from the electricity. I’ve also got steam burns from it it’s very dangerous and I don’t advise getting it.

brought it on a 1 month trip to europe, saved us a number of times when we just wanted to save money and eat in, or have coffee in the room when staying in budget places. It was not light, but was the best option. It heated water fast, very fast with 220 in europe even with a 110 converter, and cooled down fast enough to not be a nusiance when checking out same morning. wraps up nicely and the travel case has enough room for the cord without struggling to get it to fit.

Surprised there is no safety certification Mark on this product that was sold on Amazon? Very strong plastic smell water after 3 boil.... The unit is small and cute perfect for traveling if you do not mind product is not tested for Safety certification as a consumer product the. That would be fine...however, To me, it is a safety hazard thus returning the product.
