Exceeded my expectations - highly recommend!
I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to test the pots and pans first. I purchased the 11-piece set in January, and I couldn’t be more pleased. This is my first stainless steel cookware set (I finally parted ways with my old non-stick set), and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the quality. Not only are these pots and pans beautifully designed, but they’re also solidly constructed and feel very durable. The packaging was excellent — each item came with protective cardboard inserts and wrapped in soft cloth sleeves, which I really appreciated. Before using the set, I followed the recommended cleaning instructions and I’ve had no issues with food sticking. Cleaning has been incredibly easy — just warm water, soap, and a non-abrasive sponge (or sometimes even just a paper towel). On the rare occasions when something left a stain or slight discoloration, a small amount of Bar Keepers Friend brought everything back to looking brand new.I make sure to preheat the pans as advised, and they heat evenly on my gas stove. The handles are ergonomic and don’t get too hot to the touch, and while the pieces have a nice heft to them, they’re not overly heavy or cumbersome. The variety of pot sizes in the set is great, though I do wish a 2-quart saucepan had been included — hopefully that might be added in the future (maybe even as a piece that can be purchased separately).Overall, I’m thrilled with this set and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality stainless steel cookware at a very reasonable price point. As a bonus, the owner personally reaches out after purchase, which is a thoughtful and refreshing touch.

Amazing set of pans
I've waited a while to write a review to make sure I have used these pans to get a good feel of what I like and don't like. I've primary owned All-Clad--5ply anodized and copper clad cookware. I believe the Legend pans are every bit as good and better in many ways. The copper core pans are exceptional at heating quickly, heating evenly and cooking perfectly. The handles of the Legend are nearly perfect. They are long enough to offer good leverage (the pans are heavy!), but it's the shape of the handle that's exceptional. The thumbprint like indent along the handle fits your hand perfectly and makes picking them up feel so stable. The collection of pans included in the set is perfect. They cover all the needed sizes for any kind of cooking and the fry pans are BIG--in a wonderful way. They are deep as well making it easy to cook a variety of food from pan fried foods to braised meats. The inside of the stock pots are etched with volume measurements which makes for a convenient way to judge the amount of liquid. They stock pots seemed a first a bit small, but they are larger than they seem at first and the selection of 4 sizes has covered just about all areas I typically need. I have no problem having 5-6 pans going at any one time and the variety of sizes is great for fitting the pans all across the induction cooktop. The stockpot/soup pot is HUGE. Its really deep but doesn't have an overly large footprint, so it works great for larger quantities of liquid without taking up too much real estate. These pans have been phenomenal on my induction cooktop. They heat up very quickly and I've never had such even heating(in part due to the nature of induction, but also due to the copper core). The personally think they are aesthetically more pleasing that most of the cookware out there and with 3 handle color choices, its easy to pick the look you are going for.I felt like I took a bit of chance buying a unknown/less known brand of cookware, but I'm THRILLED with the performance of these pans. I've catered and regularly cook for dinner parties as well as family gatherings, and these pans and wonderful in everyday use. The large set has everything I need. I couldn't be more impressed.

Really exceeded all expectations. Super easy to clean always. Just use extra low heat
I'd purchase Legend stainless steel again. I didn't know what to expect because I'd never heard of the brand. [I'm not new to stainless steel].The Legend company seems great too. They sent me a Legend apron but never asked me for a review. My review has nothing to do with the apron. i hadn't used the pots anyway at that point.Over Thanksgiving I decided to switch entirely to stainless steel, I hedged: I tried Legend and three other brands. I chose 3-ply because I don't have 5-ply cash.Legend packaging was great. I opened it and they had rather interesting advice for "pre-treating" your stainless steel so it lasts; I ignored it. I've used stainless steel before why should this be any different.Compared to other brands, all 3-ply, Legend has unbelievable heat retention. With Legend I have to cook a notch lower heat-wise. The reason I'm leaving a review is because, I was reheating some chicken and I was naughty, I didn't watch the pot. It was on simmer low (3) but I left it for WAY too long while doing something else. I was thinking it's on low, it won't burn and I have a super-sensitive nose, no problem.Anyway, it burnt .... with some chicken stuck to a blackened bottom (not smokey-burn, a slow burn). I thought well that's fun, I'm going to discover if the pot will survive. I rescued most of our chicken and put some warm water to cover the blackened sticky food part and left the pot on the stove on 1 until after we finished dinner. When I checked in on the pot, the blackened burnt layer just lifted completely, the whole layer came off at once like a pancake! So I could clean the pot normally without any scrubbing needed. Five stars for that!!!! There's no evidence at all that I burnt the pot. Looks as before.PS. Don't pay attention to reviews of stainless steel pots from people who know nothing about stainless steel. Cleaning is a breeze. Occasionally, for every single one of my stainless steel brands, I'll clean them with bar keeper's type powder but not always (including All-Clad). Most of the time, it's soap and warm water.PPS.
