Good budget priced ascender
Used in a single rope system to ascend in to tree canopies, so fully laden this was allowing 100kg of load. Easy to use, safe and clamps on to rope. Obviously requires, backup and redundancy but is a good budget ascender

An alternate use
This has been great for what I intended. Let me explain. I have a Utonagan dog who weighs in at 54 kg. I use a harness with a Ruffwear lead, which is based on climbing rope. The ascender is great for keeping a good handle on his lead, for stopping at the edge of the road, keeping a grip on him when he wants to chase a cat.
