I was looking for an LED strip that I could add to a miniature I was making to simulate water flow - this is perfect for that. There are forward and reverse blue chasers to simulate water flowing in different directions. While there are no still blue lights, you can slow the speed down enough on a pulsing blue light to look like still water. A HUGE plus is the fact that you can hook these up to a battery bank. This allowed me to attach it to my miniature without having cords dangleing off of it. The other chasers look good too. I’ll be using them for christmas decoractions later on in the year.

I had previously reported the item was missing its controller and what I didn’t realize was just how small that unit was. It’s was actually included and part of the wiring. I was looking in the box for a separate, much larger unit. My apologies for missing that. It works great and the LED are very bright. Well worth The money.

These lights work fine, build quality is solid, except for the USB. If you find that your lights are not turning on it's probably because the USB connector isn't making contact properly. The most foolproof way to fix this is to cut off the usb connectors and replace them with something less temperamental. It doesn't actually need usb, it's a simple pair of red and black power wires. I just wired them directly together and haven't had any trouble since. If you aren't handy with a soldering iron, you could also try bending the contact springs in the usb connector down to make a better grip.

Pretty much everything was as expected but... it has a thick rubber coating. This makes it great for using outside (even though the battery pack is not well protected). I had to order a second one to put on my 3 wheel recumbent bike. I ran it from the flag poll tip down and across the back of the basket. I put it on a good strobing rainbow chasing lights and it is VERY bright at night. It sucks having to keep the battery pack inside, but still a great product. I might buy a third one.

These lights surpassed my expectations. So many combinations and they look great. I love the versatility of being able to use batteries, external power pack, or a wall outlet for a power supply. They really allowed the stage I made for my son come to life. They only suggestion I’d make is to include a still mode, but I understand they’re advertised as chaser lights.

It did not work properly out of the box, the three pin connection between the lights and the control was not strong I had to force the pins as far in as possible to get it to work as its supposed to. The provided battery box works perfectly, the controls work perfectly, it can be powered by all the USB I tried it on (laptop, TV, phone charger) over all I think it's a decent product but it has some quality issues. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Great Led strip. It does exactly what it should do, worked as advertised. I got them to use for video projects, music videos, etc... I didn't know it had 60 different modes! so that is cool. It also has different speeds, colors, etc. You can using with an outlet, USB battery, or 4 AA batteries.

Ordered two these to incorporate into a Halloween costume for my son. They worked for about half the night, but then one of the two strips stopped changing colors and simply was stuck on a mid-brightness yellow. The other failed similarly a few hours later. While they did the job sufficient for trick or treating, they are basically single-use disposable lighting.
