Easy cheaper replacement
Direct replacement for my Samsung fridge. No leaks and water taste about the same as the Samsung filter! 100% going to keep buying

Perfect Fit
Removed the old filter and slipped the new one in. Very easy fit. Twist to lock and done.Make sure you run about two gallons of water through it before using to clear any loose particles.

Difficult to install and not a perfect fit, but good price.
The first three times I tried to install it, it was quite difficult to turn and lock into place and it leaked. The fourth time was the charm. If you look at the photos, the first is of the original which fits perfectly, the second photo is the replacement and you can see the gaps around it. It was the lowest cost replacement and once properly installed works fine. I think the savings justify the inconvenience and the imperfect fit.

What I needed

Leaks, and does not seal properly in Samsung Refrigerator.
This filter started leaking right away. It was much more difficult to install than the Original Samsung filter. Then it did not seat correctly. It had leaked all over the inside of my refrigerator and made a huge mess before I figured it out. I tried taking it out and re-installing, but it still leaked. I re-inserted the Samsung filter, which fit perfectly and did not leak.I looked closer at the portion that inserts into the valve, and the Samsung one is much smoother. This one is clearly inferior to the Samsung. I won't purchase another of this model.
