Informative read with compelling evidence
Dr. Schmidt wrote nothing but the truth throughout this entire book. Not only did he explain the mechanisms surrounding chronic illnesses, he also gave us tools and explanations to address them. A very interesting and fulfilling read!

Dr. Schmidt is a true scientist
Dr. Darren Schmidt credits those who came before him and rides on to bring us all he has discovered and used of modern health science to heal the body. HEAL. Not manage. Not treat. HEAL. Heal means “to become sound or healthy again.”The first page of Chapter 1 was enough reason to buy the book. The book must be read from the beginning, word for word, to get with his flow and follow his scientific (but totally understandable) conclusions. He has a few philosophical gems in there too.The vocabulary in the book is for the common man but if you come across something new (dirty electricity for example) be sure to clarify it for yourself.My dream would be that teachers of homeschoolers read the book and design lesson plans from it. Teachers learn, teach the kids, and everyone enjoys the process from there on out.

Concise info on true healing
Dr Schmidt stands out from other modern holistic doctors in his focus on getting to the real root of health problems (ie mold, parasites, heavy metal toxicity) beyond just adding or subtracting certain foods and minerals.This book gives a great summary of complex holistic health concepts in very easy to understand terms regardless of your level of knowledge of holistic medicine, and gives you a clear path to addressing those issues!Its an easy and informative read and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family who are just getting started on their holistic journeys

This book is Amazing!
I highly recommend this book. Dr. Schmidt did an amazing job of pulling together science, nutrition, and truth in this book. I enjoy learning about natural health but what seals it for me are the stories from the people who have healed their own bodies by working with their practitioners. I would highly recommend watching the videos that are included in the book, again stories of what happens when we support our bodies using real science and nutrition. Thank you Dr. Schmidt for sharing with everyone and giving us all hope! KD

Very good book
Dr. Schmidt has written a very good book for those suffering from nutritional-caused health issues.Far too many do *not* know what is a "Proper human Diet" & many have this problem.The first symptom is obesity.Looking around, we may see obese people.But most do not know that is not a "normal" condition.It actually is a symptom & indicates dietary & nutritional issues.Dr. Schmidt's book aligns with health oriented doctors such as Dr. William Davis & Dr. Ken Berry (Author of the "Proper human Diet".).The few doctors promoting a healthy diet are in conflict with the medical 'class'.That 'class' has long profited from poor diet and malnutrition.But many people can reduce or eliminate health issues by simply changing their diet.Dr. Davis's "Wheat Belly" books were my 1st exposure to this idea.ATT, I weighed 280lb & subsequently lost 100lbs by simply changing my diet.Many others have tried this & had similar results.So I wholeheartedly recommend this change for others.

Not a "How to Book".
This is an "introduction and outline to the subject" book. It is also an advertisement. To be fair, the approaches the book introduces you to are probably good ones, and the direction the author is sending the reader are mostly the correct ones. The author gets you started on the importance of vitamin B-1, well worth pursuing. If you are chronically sick, the book is a start to better health.

What a guide!
I have not even finished this book but I wanted to leave a review asap! I am about halfway through and this book has been so educational and helpful for holistic nutrition. I spent years using western medicine and though I think it has its place, there’s so many things that western medicine overlooks. Like PARASITES AND MOLD! I had black mold poisoning as a toddler and developed severe asthma from it. I went holistic 4 years ago and have finally found relief from not only mold, but also parasites. Something no medical doctor ever brought up to me. This book gives such a straight forward way of explaining how to navigate complex chronic issues that have underlying problems that medical doctors don’t address. Ever wonder why your skin conditions are always treated with a bandaid but never cured? Well this book explains what’s below the surface. Highly highly recommend!

Read this book to find out what's going on and what you can do about it!
I am always on the lookout for natural and lifestyle help with different medical conditions. This book is the best one I have found so far. It combines science, proven results and common sense so you can help yourself and those you care about in a natural manner. This book is also well written and edited, so you can go to the sections that pertain to you with ease. It is well worth the money. I am reading it through for the second time. Such an eye opener.
