Purchased this for lower back issues, sciatica and the gel cooling. I had been sleeping on a new very firm memory foam mattress with no top cushioning at all, and was in worse shape than I had been as it was putting too much pressure on my back and I kept waking throughout the night from the heat retention in the mattress.. After sleeping the very 1st night on this mattress topper I felt so much immediate pressure relief, comfort & slept all night without waking due to uncomfortable heat . I would highly recommend this topper!

I bought this for my wife's hospital style bed, to replace the pad that came from the medical supply and was literally destroyed in under two years. She loves how comfortable it is, and the memory foam serves an unintended purpose...it gently holds her in place, and makes it less likely for her to roll out of bed. The pad is actually a little larger than the twin size mattress, which isn't a bad thing. When we need to replace the pad in the future, I'll definitely reorder!

I had a topper by a different company previously that I returned because it was not comfortable. This one seems to be doing the trick as I don't have to roll around to find the sweet spot. It has been cooling to a degree. There was a slight odor but nothing I can't live with. Frankly, I put it on the bed after a few hours as it had reached its full expansion by then. Time will tell for durability.

Very nice and spongy, aired up quickly and was exactly the right size for my mattress. If you're a person with restless legs and sensory seeking behavior, you might want to put it upside down or look for a solid foam- I can't stop running my feet over the different textures and that's distracting, so I'll be flipping it over when I next change my sheets. It's been fine for my back issues and my hips are complaining much less than usual. I think it's worth the price I paid and I haven't noticed any smells or issues with the actual foam.

I was looking to replace my 6 year old mattress (already!) and realized my mattress topper has seen better days. So I figured I'd start with a new topper and go from there. I also decided to try this multi-zone type instead of all one egg crate pattern. I use 3" toppers....2" is too less to make a difference and 4" can be too difficult to turn on with a low back problem. Once I opened to let it expand, there was only a very mild chemical smell and typically expected. Nothing crazy. About 30 hrs later, I checked on it, and it was expanded its full 3" thickness and I didn't notice any chemical odor. I do put a mattress pad over my topper to protect from being a hot sleeper. Like my headline says, what a difference a new topper makes in comfort and sleep! I've had it about 2 weeks now and very happy, I love it.I don't ever expect a foam topper to keep me 'cool' at night...this is my first trying the 'gel infused' tho but still no expectations. Unless it circulates air like the cooling vented seats in my car...that would help us hot sleepers lol!. I have changed out my sheets to ONLY cotton, a light down comforter with cotton duvet cover. No more polyester/microfiber junk on me at night.I've stopped price shopping mattresses, hopefully for awhile. My bed surface feels so comfy now and enjoy getting it in again without dreading the tossing and turning or waking with a knot in my shoulder.

Came quickly, instructors little confusing, gave 24 and 72 hours to expand and air out. So I split the difference 48 hours.Having a one of the x firm matches made, great for the back, not for the pressure points, shoulders, hips, etc.2 inch was perfect any larger and I would have to sew straps to fit my sheets.Great results with a deep sound sleep. I do not usually write reviews but I & my family have similar toppers from different company and all are good after couple years. This one looked fancy and comfortable and I read the reviews before purchase... It was not cheap so REALLY NOT WORTH the money and time spend for purchase. I DO NOT understand how this product has so many great reviews.It is comfortable but be broken after 3 months? No, stay away!UPDATED 4/2024: Absolutely amazing customer service! I contacted Amazon to find contact with seller Yuting US and wrote them message about my experience. They reacted immediately and offered me a replacement which I received within few days. I will try again. Again - topper is very comfortable. I felt really taken care.

2inch thickness was not flimsy! Felt much more dense. King size fit perfectly. no gaps or overhang. Aired out for 48 hrs. No odor lingered. Quality & comfort!Tossed an older 2inch similar style. No comparison.
