Heavy duty at a good price
I was a little concerned this might be a light weight hitch becouse of the price, but it is not. I have yet to install it, but looking it over I was amazed how heavy it is, and can see its well made of heavy steel . I have read other reviews saying the Receiver was a little oversized. Not a problem for me as I will wield a shim on the hitch if needed.

Not worth it for a bike carrier
Bought this to install on my 2001 F350 to carry our bike rack when the camper is in the bed of the truck. Install wasn’t too bad, I didn’t drill the other 4 holes as it will never be used to pull any loads. When I was done, I inserted the bike rack into the receiver and immediately noticed the rack moved around way more than it should. I installed the pin that is threaded and tightens up the connection between the rack and the receiver. Still flopped around. A lot. My Swagman bike rack is rock solid in all my other vehicles with 2 inch receivers. I pulled it out and measured the actual size of the receiver tube. It was 2 3/16. All my other receivers are 2 1/16, if that. Very disappointing. Why would anybody do this? A 2 inch receiver tube is standard in most the world. Nobody uses a 2 3/16 tube. Nobody. I guess you get what you pay for.....I guess it would work well for a winch or dropping your boat in the water, but don’t get it for a bike rack, or any other rack for that matter.

Fit my 2005 F350 6.0 Diesel
I think it must be the same design others are selling for much more. You need to fix the Amazon garage "Does not fit your vehicle". I spent a lot of time making brackets to mount the OEM fog lights back in there and it just didn't turn out very well because the lights have to be further forward so they are exposed beyond the bumper and it's too tight to adjust them. I will probably order some aftermarket LEDs with a good limit line. The biggest pain with the install was re-installing the bolts that go through the hitch for the oem tow loops The lower flange on the hitch blocks access to the two forward bolt positions so all that will go in there is a combination wrench. If that flange was notched or reduced so they were accessible from below with a socket extension it would be a piece of cake to install with an impact wrench and torque them. As it was I could get one click with a ratcheting box end and it was impossible to fully torque them. The third bolt on each loop was accessible from below and it was easy. The hitch came in a box in perfect condition. My cheap step drill did the trick.

Fits 2007 Ford F-350 & Cost's Less Than the Competition
Few.... That was interesting... First get a step drill bit to aid in drilling 4 new holes in your bumper mounting bracket. Allow yourself some time for installation. Lucky for me I had my wifes aid & when she couldn't get to the back of bolts for the included washers to go on, I had my 14 yr old son that pop right under & got them on... He was happy to help after the accomplishment. I used my 20v cordless impact to remove bumper bolts & to put some back on. Like others have said it's tricky to get at the back to get the included washers started but keep in mind you may bend them to fit better or to have a better "handle" on it. This seemed to help a bit. This hitch seems to be the same hitch you pay another $20 or more for. It is a solid piece that came w/everything I needed (double check your box before starting). After I installed the hitch I put on my hitch tray that holds my Generator for RV. It had some wiggle but you can snug anything you have attached with an accessory clamp.

2” receiver is too big for 2” hitch, waste of time
The 2” receiver is waayyy too sloppy to be useful for anything of importance. Hitch receiver measures 2-3/16” and the hitch for my spare tire carrier, ball hitch, and bike rack all wobble extremely. A hitch tightener bracket will not work for side to side and I can easily move the bike rack with one installed. Save your money and time and go buy the actual Reese 65022 front hitch that this is supposed to be a direct replacement for.

Solid, why pay more.
This thing is solid. Mounted it to our Ford Excursion to hold camper generator on a front cargo basket. The installation requires you to remove the front bumper, 4 bolts on the front brackets and 1 on each side bracket. Also requires the removal of front tow hooks, not an easy task with hand tools, I used impact. These tow hooks, can be re-installed after bumper goes on, if you choose, I choose not too. DRILLING is REQUIRED.......... on the factor bumper brackets that are mounted on bumper. The vehicle frame mounts have 4 hole already that match up with your new front mount receiver but the actual bumper brackets (from Ford) don't have more then the 2 factory holes pre side that are used by ford. So some drilling will be required on the brackets and finding the center point to drill out will require precise measuring.

Heavy Duty
This hitch is super heavy duty, excellent design and fit, came fast, and is priced very reasonable. It is a little hard to install, but not because of the hitch, the tow hooks were tough to remove plus the bumper and driving lights also have to be removed to install the hitch. ( Note: aux. driving lights have to remain off the truck)

Fits the 2001 F-350 perfectly
This receiver fit my 2001 Ford F-350 Dually perfectly. The bumper was a pain to drill with standard drill bits. Even the pilot hole was slow drilling, but when I changed to a "Step drill bit set" the step drill bit literally went through that bumper in a matter of seconds. The drilled bolts holes on the passenger side were easy enough to get the nuts on behind the bumper but the drivers side inside drilled holes are a pain in the (well you know what) to get to on the 2001 F-350. All in all this receiver is a fantastic deal. It is very well made and the fit and looks are fantastic.
