One Lucky Bunny
A baby rabbit ran into the house through an open door. I ordered this humane trap. There were two traps in the box which was very good to have two traps. It came within 24 hours. We needed it fast. I put delicious rabbit food on the levers, small slices of bananas, strawberries, watermelon and butter lettuce.I couldn't believe my eyes the next morning. There was this little puff ball of fur in the cage. We took the caged bunny outside to the grass. I wish I had somehow taken a video of him scampering off. It was the cutest thing ever! He seemed to know where he was going. That was one lucky rabbit!Anyway. I am a perfectly satisfied customer. The device worked like a charm in a matter of hours.

Works well.
Bought the trap and recommended outdoor wild animal food. ( Bird food will work too) Easy to set. After I set the trap, I just carefully sprinkle the food on top and let it fall through the openings. Caught six chipmunks so far in just a couple of days. Set them free in a nearby forest preserve.

This thing WORKS!!!
One night my wife saw a large furry thing creeping around our back porch so I put out sticky pads and a couple of other humane traps and nothing worked. After weeks of frustration I bought this trap. Once it arrived I set the trap with a slice of salami on the pressure plate and within 1 hour I had caught my nemesis š. After I caught this little fledgling I went and set it free in a field. He waived bye as he hopidie hopped away. I 100% recommend this trap and Iām buying another one before china and tariffs make them so expensive that I canāt afford them or they get banned with TikTok. Happy hunting friends.

Quality if-y and needs a handle. But did work first time!
This worked the first time we used it. Large brown rat. The product was obviously well thought out... EXCEPT there is NO handle. The quality of the metal is not great and to add a smallish handle on top would have been very wise. We used gloves and had to pick up by opposite corners. Since could not carry it we put the cage in a brown box and carried the box out to where we planned to release it. Fortunately the rat was fairly stunned it had been caught and we discovered quickly so it did not rustle around nor try to attack us. We are grateful it is gone. But really people ... a handle would be smart. Not sure how durable it is as wire is very small and if that huge rat had been in longer it would have been outta there. Thx to whoever invented it but please upgrade with handle on top!

Awesome little trap.
Update. So far I've relocated 8. I thought I had all the ones I was gonna get but I guess we'll keep on hauling em to their new home. My neighbors are giddy the cute little rodents are gone.First day and I got 2 squirrels so far and relocated them across town. So far it's a great trap. Easy to set up and easy to release or empty. So my tally is 5 squirrels relocated. The last one won't go near it and must have seen the others. They are smart little rodents but, I'll take the 5 I got and keep working on the last one. This trap is a great value.

Not as sensitive as it needs to be
Having suffered a dead mouse in a wall cavity after I had plugged the access point I wanted to reduce the local mouse population, but I have bird feeders and have on a couple of occasions killed birds that were attracted to the peanut butter I had used as bait in traditional spring traps. So this humane trap seemed like the way to go. I baited it with peanut butter without setting the trap and something, on several occasions, managed to lick the peanut butter off without springing the trap. Also, I had observed that the peanut butter might still be there overnight but would disappear some time in the early afternoon. Though it was somewhat rare, I had seen mice during daylight hours. So I increased the sensitivity of the trap by putting a loop of scotch tape around the bar that goes into the loop, effectively shortening the distance it would have to move in order to spring the trap. Also, I loosely put the same tape on top of the peanut butter to require that the critter work a little harder to get to the bait. After this, I caught a gray squirrel. It barely fit into the cage and was furious and terrified. With leather gloves on, I carefully released it. So, there you have it. The trap works, but may need "help" to work properly.

Works great, perfect size for small creatures
We used this humane trap for a little baby possum that got into our house somehow. It would be tight for a full grown possum, but for the little baby possum it was the perfect size. The trap sprung easily and quietly, and the little critter was not harmed. In fact, after a meal of raisins and catfood, he's at the wildlife rescue center with other orphan babies. It's well made, and the price was great. 100% would buy again.

The smaller size is not a good option for trapping squirrels.
I'm using this to trap and relocate destructive squirrels. After receiving it I wish that I had ordered the larger size. The smaller size does work but you need to weight the cage so that they can't turn it over. If they can get it upside down the slider that holds the door shut will slide down so the door opens. It still works once I weighted it so I can't complain about something that I should have realized.
