As you csn see it requires no prescription. I too use it for the outdoor homeless cats because it boils diwn to cost $6.25 per cat si a oack of 4 for approx $25 is a very good pruce snd iy is comporable to advantage flea meds. Because they live iutdoors, i give them a dise every 3 eeeld instead of 4 weeks. Its also a good idea to give another flea medication as they may become immune to the same medication month after month. I got that advice from a vet at VCA clinic.
