As a woman of “a certain age” I guess it’s time to start taking care of what I’ve been given! I have pretty good skin overall, especially for an old lady of 54, but who doesn’t have a few pores that remain stubbornly clogged?? This comes in a deceptively little jar - this is going to last me for the rest of my life!! After cleaning your face you use the fabulous little spatula to apply a very thin layer of product and then press the paper strip into place. I think this is the kind of product you’re either going to LOVE or HATE. I fall in the “love” camp because my skin isn’t overly sensitive and it actually does work. It did sting a little when I pulled off the strip but, well, that’s what it’s SUPPOSED to do. Seeing that little forest of blackheads is absurdly satisfying. I think the price is VERY reasonable for this product - but be warned, the smell is quite pungent. Not enough to take off a star but, if you have scent and/or skin sensitivities, this may not be a good fit. Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

It smells bad and it only got a little of blackheads. I'm using all but will not buy again.

I have to say I wasn't impressed when I first opened the package. But I figured I'd give it a go. I have Rosacia and get pimples easily if I don't keep my nose scrupulously clean. One thing I find that helps is to keep the pores very clear. But I find it hard to find a product that does a good job without causing a lot of pain... Some of the peel off options really don't want to peel off and that's too much. The product has a really weird consistency... somebody else nailed it saying it feels like tofu. You spread it on and put the paper over it and let it dry which seems so 1980s, lol. But what I liked about that is that I was able to grab the paper and pull it off in one quick yank which is a lot more effective than trying to peel off the other type. the pores is on my nose looked a lot better after. Will certainly keep using this one

Product smells funny and came in clumps, could not use this product

This Auslka blackhead removing kit was not quite what I was expecting. A little different to the wet,dry, rip off patches i have used before. The kit includes a tub of active cream, strips of fine paper and a soft spatula applicator. Instructions are to apply cream to area apply paper and leave to dry for approx. 10 mins and remove. The cream does have a scent, maybe aloe content.This company only make pimple patches for cleansing and first aid, products made in China. Strangley this product is not available on their website. I am using this for blocked pore cleansing on nose and forehead not black heads. After first use not convinced this is it for me. It doesn't have the same satisfying rip off that charcoal patches do. Think I need to do repeated and regular uses to see benefits.

I tried this blackhead remover along with my husband and 15 year old daughter. You open the paste and use the applicator to spread a thin amount on your nose. Then you take a thin strip of paper and press it down on top of the paste. You let it dry for approximately 10 minutes. During this time I felt a light tingly feeling on my nose, so I was hopeful it was going to work well. After 10 minutes mine still felt a little sticky so I left it on for another 5 minutes. My daughter pulled hers off and had literally zero blackheads attached. Hers was still sticky in spots so had white sticky residue to remove. When I took mine off the paper shredded and I ended up needing to peel off little bits. Who can say if there were any blackheads removed, but I will say it was quite painful. My husband also had lackluster results, and believe me, he should have had a forest on that strip! Overall this was messy, took quite a long time and did not have satisfactory results. I would not use this again.

The manner in which you use this product isn't like the Biore strips we knew from the 90s. This product you use a small spatula to apply to problem areas, after cleaning the face and using a hot towel to encourage pores to open. You place the paper strip over the applied product, then let it dry completely before removing and washing thoroughly with water. There is a scent to it, and it's certainly not that of aloe vera as the box states. It's an odd smell...something you might smell in a nail salon. It takes awhile for it to dry completely, the time range they give in the instructions is 5-10 minutes. It's closer, if not more, than 10 minutes. This is typical to most clay masks - that help draw out impurities. So it is no surprise that it takes patience to use this product. I haven't noticed any irritation from use of this product which I a plus for me, as I have sensitive skin. I didn't let it dry completely the first time I tried it, but it does appear to work. You can definitely see some blackheads it extracted.
