Not a quality product
I installed this on my poultry watering system. It worked well for about two years but then failed to regulate the water pressure. It's cheap plastic construction. I replaced it with the cast-iron Cash Acme 20658-0005 1/2" Pressure Regulator which should last for years. Note: As of when this review was written, Amazon's product description for the Cash Acme 20658-0005 pressure regulator is wrong. The 20658-0005 (1/2") and 20662-0005 (3/4") have an adjustable pressure range of 0-20 PSI. That's perfect for poultry watering systems.

CHEAP & USELESS
It can't handle the low pressure from our outdoor faucet. We have a well & the pump isn't very strong; much lower pressure than a residence hooked up to city water. This "pressure regulator" was supposed to lower the pressure for an automatic chicken waterer to function correctly, but it just doesn't work. Instead, the pressure continues to build up & ends up causing the waterer to constantly drip which means the coop is always wet. NOT an ideal environment...this regulator is useless.
