IOAOI PBT Keycaps Set, Side Print, Shine Through, 131 Keys OEM Profile for 100%, 75%, 65%, 60% MX-stem Switches - Grey

I had this idea in my head for a old Trek keyboard, but couldn't find anything. Then I found these keycaps. I bought 3 sets since each is just one color, and BOOM, it looks better than I hoped.Keep in mind since these are shine through front keycaps, you can't see the printing on the letters very well without led lighting (south face LED sockets are a must since the print in on the lower face of the keycaps.) You will need good strong LED lights to see the key text clearly (clear switches are best.)The results speak for themselves, this keyboard now looks to me like it belongs in Star Trek :)The keycaps are nothing special, however they are not lacking either. Quality keys. Good feeling and ergonomics. Font is unique and legible. lettering is seemingly smaller in person than in product images but that's not a drawback.

There is a little of bleeding on the caps but is not much of a problem tho. Materials are good enough for the price.

I was looking for set of backlit keys that were not too expensive and looked good and I landed on these. The quality is pretty good and they are comfortable to type on. Installing them was easy and the backlight color shines through perfectly. The font on them looks a little funny, but I've grown to love them. Would definitely buy again

I'm super happy with these keycaps, especially considering the price, and I plan on ordering more as soon as I figure out what color I want. These are optimized for the brightness to be on the downside, while my keyboard's LEDs are on the upside. I've included a picture in both light and darkness to hopefully show how dim the keys are in the upside orientation. In my opinion, that's a plus—I really don't like super bright keys, and for my preferences, the dimness is perfect.I wish they had more color options because you get so many keys for such a minimal price, and they feel and sound great. They also come shipped perfectly in a decent plastic case for storage. I've read other reviews for keycaps (none from this company) where keys come in a mess, which would be very frustrating when selecting and installing new caps. If any of these colors appeal to you and the orientation of the LED fits your preferences, I highly recommend getting a set.

My wife likes purple things, so I got this set of key caps for her mechanical keyboard. While these are supposed to be "shine through", the letters and numbers are printed on the front part of the key cap. And the LEDs on this keyboard are located on the back of the switch. So, make sure you know what you're getting. They look great, and had no issues installing them except for the space bar. The mounting posts are not a standard configuration and would not fit this keyboard (nor any other mechanical keyboard that I own). Minus one star for that.

I needed to replace some ABS keycaps with a chunkier PBT and these were perfect for snagging. I've feel like I've used these before, on a black set with a VERY similar packaging style, and same legends, so they were familiar to me. They're pretty chunky and well made, not the best made, but that reflects in the price. These are a GREAT price for just a quick replacement. There are some sprues that are on the top edge at the bottom of the keycap, but nothing a quick swipe with a razor wouldn't fix, but even then if you don't do that you'll never see or feel the sprue anyways.The only part I'd ding it for, is the typeface they chose to use for the legends, it's just not my taste.

These could be AWESOME, except for some reason, all "R"s have been replaced with "A"s? I'm telling you, I thought I must be wrong, but I looked so closely and there is NO difference between them. I can understand a blocky font making letters lose some of their identifying features, but that's really not it here. There is absolutely not the slightest difference between the two letters as if one of them was forgotten completely in designing the font. I sell custom keycaps and really liked the way the front-printed design completely opened up the tops of the keys for art. But I can't sell a set of keycaps that includes a "CTAL" key.
