I was excited to try this new product after using many of the 8 saints products over the last few years. I wanted to try it because my skin is just in need of something 'more' as im nearing the big 5 0. For starters, I dont really notice much of a scent at all which I thought was strange seeing as so many people commented on it, either loving it or hating it. To me, its so light it is hardly noticeable. I started using it the day I got it. I didnt pay much attention to the directions, I just started using in in the morning after my wash and serum. I absolutely love how it feels on my skin. It is not greasy and it feels like my skin just soaks it all up. It makes my face feel amazingly smooth. But....like I had said, I am not great at reading the directions and I continued to use this daily for the first few days and it seemed to really start giving me a breakout and a little of that drying/flaking that ive seen others comment about. That was a real bummer to me because it just feels so good that I wanted to be able to keep using it every day! But, i laid off of it for a few days and now I have been kinda of using it every other day and my skin seems to be tolerating that so im going to keep up with my routine that way. I know it hasn't been that long of a time that ive been using it, but I feel like my skins texture is already alot smoother and I hope this means that it will continue to work on my larger pores and uneven tone...im confident it will, since it feels like its already bringing positive changes to my skin. Im super glad that I bought this product and intend to keep on using it in my routine!

What a great addition to my skincare routine! Here is why I like it:-Comes in a nice big jar of product that is easy to dab on - for me, a small fingertip size for forehead/cheeks/chin works best and that is easier to dispense from a jar than a pump.-No smell! Not even a chemical smell.-Effective and most effective when used in whole skincare routine. I use a gentle daily exfoliator at night, toner, serum, and moisturizer. I also have a prescription for tretinoin. This is gentler but still the same effect as tret, but combined with a moisturizer. If you've used retinols before, you know the "purge" phase is common when starting or restarting, and a moisturizer helps mitigate the effects of that. I've mostly used this at night and the next morning have great results. The Tret was prescribed for sebaceous hyperplasia, and this product really helps with that in a gentle way! Which is very nice because it can sometimes be difficult to obtain, but since this is over the counter, it's a great add.- I tried this during the day as well. I didn't notice specific differences between using at night or during the day, but I did think it paired nicely with/under the eight saints sunscreen!- for day, my favorite is always the fluffy/cloud light and good smelling eight saints daydreamer moisturizer, BUT this product is so rich and thick on your skin. Part of the reason it produces great results overnight is because your skin soaks up all that goodness!!I definitely recommend this product! Great job again Eight Saints!!
