The media could not be loaded.  So far so good, this little pump is the perfect accompaniment to my little birdbath creating a cute water feature for the balcony. In direct sunlight the fountain is quite powerful for such a little thing. It manages to spray up about 6in/15cm without any of the heads attached. With the heads it sprays closer to 30-45cm/12-18in which is too high for my birdbath as it ends up draining the bird bath. In overcast conditions it bubbles 2.5-5cm/.5-2in. In heavy overcast conditions, it is more of a spurt/stop, spurt/stop. I've attached a video showing the direct sun and overcast lighting conditions to give you an idea of what I am describing. The solar panel comes with two different mounting brackets for either wall mounting or ground positioning. It is worth noting the solar panel needs direct line of sight of the sun to power the pump. (e.g. in my case because this is on the balcony, the sun goes behind our house mid afternoon, so the panel gets indirect light and only intermittently powers the pump). That said there is ample cable to be able to place the panel in the sun and the pump in the shade if you need to. I will update if needed. But as it is, I would highly recommend this for small water features or small ponds.

I bought this solar fountain because I had a smaller fountain with a smaller solar panel that just didnt work in any cloud cover,at all. So,I thought,buy a bigger fountain with a bigger panel. Unfortunately,it doesnt work as Id hoped it would.It does make the fountain rise to four,maybe five nches,100mm to 125mm,but stays at the same level even in the brightest of sunshine. So,Im very disappointed with it.And,its not because the filter is blocked,as Iv read on other feedback. Iv nothing in the pond to block it.I just needed circulation in any sunlight to avoid my pond going green.

This is a brilliant piece of kit. It actually works very well on a cloudy day and tries hard to gently pulse when no sunshine at all if its bright. Because I use this in my bird bath (as can be seen in photo with no sunshine), I don't fit the spray on breezy days as the water blows and wastes on the ground, but of course in a pond that wouldn't be a concern. The birds love this, it seems to attract them more than usual. I recommend this seller too, so very helpful.

I like every part of this simple pump kit but have added a bit of pond filter foam to the intake for extra filtration and have cable tied the pump to a bit of brick to raise it to the height I need. Flow is very sensitive to the available light.

The pump is about 10 cm tall and it’s been difficult to prop it up in the pond so that it reaches the surface. I have a small pond but this is really only suitable for a tiny pond. I have got it to work but to keep it in shallow water means it’s near the edge which wasn’t what I wanted. In strong sunlight it’s good but the slightest dip in sun takes it to a dribble. The attachments to create jets are poor quality and it took a lot of fiddling to get them to stay on so that water comes out of the holes rather than the sides.

Don't waste your money, it is not big enough for anything, works intermittently and if it is the sound of water that you want you will need to have your ear next to it, this is the only thing I have ever bought that is a total mistake

Do not buy this product. It costs a fortune and has lasted 11 days. It has been fitted properly, cared for properly and kept submerged. Utter garbage. It would be good if there was an option on Amazon orders to complain, because I'd dearly love to tell the supplier what I thought of them. Typically, there is no such option.
