I admittedly got the idea to use game tokens as a low-cost substitute for miniatures to use in TTRPGs from Deficient Master's YouTube channel. He personally used Peeples. Unfortunately, those aren't available anywhere for anything like a reasonable price anymore. Fortunately for me, these appeared. First, these work nicely as game pieces for practically anything. They're well made, uniformly molded, not warped or with any weird uncut seams to file off so they stand reliably. With six colors and twenty of each color, this will probably be enough to make all your board games with missing pieces whole again. That they have an abstracted humanoid shape to them is a value-added bonus that happens to work especially well in the context of table top role playing games. A token can represent any small or medium creature (including PCs) on any standard square or hex grid battle map. A Lego minifig helmet, hat, or hairpiece can be attached using a tiny piece of poster putty if a player wants to customize (Note to self: Shop for more Lego minifig accessories next), and it looks far better than it has any right to. And frankly, it's a lot less tedious than combing through a box full of miniatures for the right PC or monster proxy; just declare which color represents who or what and go! They're a bit shorter than a full-blown high detail miniature, but as a low-cost abstract model, they're pretty hard to beat. In short, whether you need to replace some board game pieces to make them playable again or you need to field a small army of baddies for your adventuring party to stomp next game session, these are a solid choice!

As I often make my own board/card games and sometimes make my own replicas of existing games, I'm always looking for objects to use as "meeples". I have cut colored dominoes in half, used poker chips, colored dice, created paper clip bases for cardboard printed characters, and many other creative ways to have game players. As most board gamers would know, sometimes you need many pieces per player. It's time consuming and sometimes annoying when you just need a simple solution. WELL, this little bucket of player pieces comes to the rescue. They are a good overall size and weight to be used for most games. The colors look good, are defined, and standard. There are no seems, so they stand straight up and don't feel cheap. I will be using these for many games I have already created, as well as those to come. The ONLY complaint is that they are a bit on the small size. If they were 1.5 to 2 times the size they would be perfect. I would recommend this purchase if you are looking for smaller "meeples".

Most people probably don't need a huge container of pawns like this, but I found a lot of value in them. I added one if each to pandemic, set some aside for extra components for games if ever needed, added some to a box of components my toddler plays with (highly supervised) and used several to start making ornaments. I've been plotting it building a dice tower out of dice and game compound and I think these would be a great addition. The pawn size is about the exact size of pandemic pawns. I don't have many other games that use standard pawns, but they are a great replacement for cardboard tokens or other flat pieces.
