Hausse Retractable 2 Story Fire Escape Ladder, 13 Feet

This comes with a bag inside but the metal ladder is so sharp it cut the bag. It looks good and I hope I never have to use it but it gives peace of mind knowing that I have it.

My man cave is on the 2nd floor. I've stored the emergency latter in a small chest under the window, and actually tested it out! It works

I have ordered 5 of these, two for my daughter’s house and three for mine. I like everything about them EXCEPT, the metal on the side of each step is so sharp they will cut your hands. If ever needed (God forbid), it won’t be an issue though since lives will be saved.

Haven’t had to use it, and let’s hope it stays that way. 😂

Looks like this is well made and should last a lifetime. Hopefully it will never be needed.

Thankfully, we have not had to use this item. All of our bedrooms are on the upper floor at our house so we have one of these ladders readily available in each room. I started thinking about what we would do in the event of a fire on the main floor or had to evacuate any room from upstairs for whatever reason.... and I quickly realized this was not something I wanted to figure out on the fly. My wife and i feel much better knowing they are available. They seem sturdy and come in a nice bag, we hope we never have to test them in real life but the peace of mind is worth every penny!
