I have really delicate dry skin. I don't often wear makeup, but when I do, I need to get every bit of it off or else I break out or my pores clog and I end up with what seems like instant blackheads. I've never understood how people can wear heavy cosmetics without ruining their skin. But then, maybe covering it all up is why they wear it in the first place. A-N-Y-W-A-Y...years ago I discovered a Lancome cleanser that melted and removed every trace of makeup and left my skin soft and clean without feeling dry or stripped of moisture. It was a cream-to-oil cleanser that liquefied at body temperature that was designed for oily skin and cleansed without water. In fact, mixing it with water wrecked the deep cleansing and makeup removing effectiveness of it. Once all my makeup AND eye makeup was dissolved, I could just wipe everything off with a damp cloth and then rinse my face in warm water. Presto. I didn't have oily skin, but the woman at the counter raved at what a miracle makeup remover it was, so I tried it, and it proved to be everything she'd said. Naturally, Lancome discontinued the product and I could never find anything like it. I was able to find more on the eBay and hoarded what I could find, but eventually, I ran out, and no one seemed to offer anything like it...until now. FARMACY NATURAL MAKEUP REMOVER IS THE BOMB! A little goes a long way. It looks like a cream, but it liquefies on contact with my skin. I go all over my face (and eyes!) in light circular motions until everything is completely loose and dissolved, and then wipe it all away with a damp cloth. Just like before. Then I rinse, rinse, rinse with warm water. My skin is fresh and clean with no trace of makeup left behind. It completely dissolves long lasting lipstick/lip liner and water proof eye makeup in nothing flat. No dryness, no redness, no stripping. It's just grand. I am so relieved to have found this product! I recommend it highly...but DON'T mix it with any water until you are ready to remove it from your face. Be sure to use a damp wash cloth to wipe your face before you rinse, otherwise I don't think everything comes off. If needed, after rinsing, if you want to follow up with your regular cleanser, or do a repeat with this cleanser, that would be up to you, but depending on your primer/foundation/powder etc., you shouldn't need to. I never have. I don't even need moisturizer after cleansing. I just use this stuff, rinse, pat my face dry, and head off to bed. Sweet! And the scent is wonderful. Refreshing and relaxing all at the same time. One other thought. As I mentioned before, my old Lancome product was made as a cleanser for oily skin, not especially as a makeup remover. It's only a guess, but if I had really oil skin, I'd try this cleanser whether I wore makeup or not. I think this product is probably going to prove to be way more than just a makeup remover.

I was skeptical and ready to send Farmacy Natural Cleansing Balm right back to Amazon if it did not preform as advertised. The product worked as expected. The only slight issue I had was it took a little longer to dissolve my mascara, this is the reason for the 4-star rating, rather than a five star rating.The sent is mild and almost void of a scent. It has a very slight fresh scent that you might find out doors, but very faint. The texture is light, silky and goes on the skin smoothly. It is a nice luxurious product for the price point. Farmacy Natural Cleansing Balm is moisturizing and easily removes makeup with a warm cloth. It feels great on the skin and does not leave your skin feeling dry.I might change my recommendation back to five stars because I am throwing away my other product!

This is the second melting balm that I’ve from Farmacy. Melting balms are the best product for me to remove my makeup and to know that I’ve completely cleansed my face after a long day. I have sensitive skin and thus far have had no issues using this product. I’ve been using this product for a little over a week. I will definitely purchase again.

This is a great cleanser and a little goes a long way. My order was made during warm weather so it was melted and had shifted around in the container. The consistency remained largely unchanged and has been as effective as a cleanser. I might refrain from ordering again during warm weather but it is a great cleanser.
