I purchased this blush 2 weeks ago and I must say it's really nice.I have a natural skin tone and this blush is just perfect since you can play around on how much you want to put. I apply it 2-3 times to have that settle look. But if your skin tone is a little lighter you can probably just apply it 1-2 times it just really depends on how much you want the blush to show. I use a little bit more to show it. But once it's applied it feels very light and soft.I would really recommend this liquid blush 😊

I love the color and the texture of it. The color is not too vivid, just the right amount of blush to make your whole makeup natural, and the texture after application is amazing too; not too oily or sticky at all!!!!

That said, I could still make it work by using a light handed application to sheer it out. My style of application is to pick up some product with the doefoot applicator and transfer it to the back of my hand. From there, I use my fingers to tap it onto my cheeks. Using this method, I’ve noticed that the product is a tad lumpy. So I’ve had to meld it together on the back of my hand by blending it with my fingertips. If I skip this step and apply the product directly to my cheeks, it will show up streaky with tiny lumps. I understand my bottle could be an outlier and perhaps a consequence of a “bad” batch. However, given its price ($24.99 at the point of this review), I would expect greater levels of reliability in terms of quality or that the product would work better, if my bottle wasn’t an outlier.

The DEAR DAHLIA Petal Drop Liquid Blush has a nice texture, but it wasn’t as tinted as I expected. To get the color to show, you’ll need to apply more than usual, which can be a bit of a hassle. While it has a nice, natural finish, I was hoping for a bit more vibrancy. It’s definitely long-lasting and blends well, but just be aware that the color payoff requires a bit more product.
