Is this chime completely wireless?

No. The chime receiver plugs into a wall outlet, but the transmitter must be physically wired to the Blink Video Doorbell using the included pre-installed cable. This wired connection is required for the chime to receive a signal.

Why doesn’t the chime ring when my Blink doorbell is pressed?

Make sure the transmitter is wired to your Blink Doorbell. If needed, re-pair by holding both brightness buttons for 3 secs, then press the doorbell. Complete setup in the Blink app as shown in the user manual.

Is the chime waterproof or safe for outdoor installation?

No. The chime receiver is intended for indoor use only and should not be exposed to rain or outdoor weather. For best performance, place the receiver in a dry, central location inside your home.

Can I connect multiple receivers to one doorbell?

Yes. You can connect up to 5 chime receivers to one transmitter. All receivers must be paired individually following the same pairing steps. This is ideal for homes where doorbell sounds need to be heard in multiple rooms.

What if the included wire is too short or doesn’t fit?

The included cable fits most Blink setups. If it’s too short, use a 22–24 AWG low-voltage wire instead. Make sure it connects securely and directly to the Blink doorbell terminals.
